Pelican's Landing Resort, Sebastian, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Pelican's Landing trailer park is expensive for what it has to offer. Although the sites are wide and it is on the intercoastal. It is definitely not a 5 star. WiFi does not work; water pressure is poor; water at times has a terrible swampy smell; and cable TV offered by the park is the bare minimum.

The laundry facility only provides cold water, and the machines are not dependable. There are no camp showers. There is no pool. The noise level from the trains (they run 24/7 and frequently day & night) and garbage pickup (5:30 AM 4 times a week) is quite disturbing.

Management lacks people skills .

Now having said all that we did spend 4 seasons there as campers in our own RV. Almost all of the other campers were and are quite wonderful and we made a lot of great friends.

The camp ground became very expensive and totally unpredictable in their administration and varying policies, so we found another place that better suits our needs. We camped at Pelican's Landing Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2016 - $95.00
Overall Rating:

Owner/ manager was " Jekyl-Hyde" in approach to customers, park policy and daily or weekly rates. One would be told in advance of a price, and at check-out find a substantially higher charge. The explanation given was that the park can change prices without notice.

The location is beach side, and sought after because of that. We will not go back due to management ineptitude when dealing with the public. We camped at Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Flagler is quite nice and "old Florida". Just a quick drone from St. Augustine and also Daytona. Very nice, quaint restaurants, and the city has a weekly farmers' market in a large square downtown .
