Boulder Creek RV Resort, Lone Pine, California

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Oh, boy. This is a favorite. This was our second stay here. I think the people who run it are very nice and helpful (they gave us an adapter for the cable wire, no charge) and the sites are fair sized and level. Easy pull throughs and utility access. Very nice clubhouse and pool. Our dogs loved the fenced run, bigger than most and well-kept with fresh water and bags at both ends. We camped at Boulder Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Very interesting geography and history. Loved the Western Film Museum and the volunteers who work there. Visitor Center one of the best we've seen. Great area! We'll come back every Fall for several days.

Spokane KOA, Spokane Valley, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very easy to get in and out. The grounds are well-maintained and the sites not too snug. We liked staying in the Valley because it's easy to get to services including RV parts and repairs. The Kamp K9 was enjoyed by our dogs and it was clean. Plenty of room to run around. We camped at Spokane KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great dog park at exit 299. It's called Patricia Simonet Laughing Dog Park and it's about 3 fenced acres of gravel, grass and trees. One of the best we've found.

Knox Butte RV Park, Albany, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

I like this place. There are many full-time residents, but the park is well-managed and the residents very nice, too. It's very convenient to the freeway and there is a great dog park just beyond the fairgrounds. You should call ahead to be sure there is a space for you. We camped at Knox Butte RV Park in a Motorhome.

Van Mall RV Park, Vancouver, Washington

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I agree this is not a park for large RVs. And not for small dogs. The dog area is fenced with cyclone on one side and tall, dense blackberry bushes on the other. I thought of coyotes, raccoons and skunks hiding in wait, so I did not let my miniature pinschers off-leash while they did their business. Otherwise it's an ok place to overnight. We camped at Van Mall RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We could not find the "within walking distance restaurants" unless they meant the vending machines at the Toyota dealer, which closes at 6. If you drive a mile or two you will find good restaurants.
