Four Oaks RV Resort, Four Oaks, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The area is well maintained. There are mobile homes here as well as motorhomes, which was a bit odd but not illogical. Easy access to area attractions, close to shopping, and easy access to the interstate. Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent! We camped at Four Oaks RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Leamon Campground, Wallace, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

There is swimming and fishing available at the campground which was nice. The Wi-Fi was less than adequate. The park was nicely groomed for the most part, however the bathrooms and shower house were poorly maintained.

The owners are very discriminating about whom they allow to stay more than a few hours. The "permanent tenants" are a mix of rednecks, dying middle-aged men, and day laborers. They feel entitled and do not like new comers. I could not tolerate the blatant racist remarks put out by the staff and occupants. We camped at Lake Leamon Campground in a Motorhome.
