Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely love this park. It was our second visit and it definitely will not be our last. Hs its own small private beach and the fact that you can see the water from some point on most of the sites makes it great and the staff are lovely and friendly. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Moose River Campground, St Johnsbury, Vermont

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful setting, very well cared for with lots of colorful plants and "moosey" things. This couple are wonderful hosts and provide a printout of local stuff to see including a suggested drive with various points of interest that was great. The pull throughs are buddy sites but with so much space in between you don't notice. I was sorry to leave. We camped at Moose River Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Ask about Edmund The Birdman who carves birds for a very reasonable price. He's a must to visit. Go to the social on Saturday evenings: they're great fun!

Americamps RV Resort, Ashland, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We had beautifully big concrete pull through with picnic table and patio near the office. However the adjacent I95 doesn't quieten down until 2am and starts up again about 5am. We spent 3 nights there and got used to the traffic noise. We camped at Americamps RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Virginia Beach KOA, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $86.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived following a week of heavy rain and most sites were water-logged. Our allotted site was so bad that we had to be given an alternative. Maneuvering in the park with a big rig has significant obstacles in respect of trees and poorly constructed access tracks. We camped at Virginia Beach KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Mission Bay RV Resort, San Diego, California

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

This is nothing but an asphalt car park. The shower/toilet facilities were disgusting. The surrounding delapidated old manufatured houses were like something out of a Hitchcock movie. We were there over Memorial Weekend and left early on the Sunday morning a day ahead of schedule. Pop ups that people left on the beach made it impossible to get to the water unless you walked through what was then someone elses space. This was also a problem on the RV park. Getting out with all the parked vehicles was a challenge as people were having to use the roadways as an extension of their site. Definitely can't recommend or would be willing to return. We camped at Mission Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Raleigh Oaks RV Resort, Four Oaks, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $71.00
Overall Rating:

We were given a huge site at the front of the park near the pool. The site was way too big - our neighbors seemed to be at the other side of a field! When they left any newcomers were given sites further away which made our stay quite lonely. The pool was nice and clean. We camped at Raleigh Oaks RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

All About Relaxing RV Park, Theodore, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This has to be one of the nicest RV Parks we've ever stayed on. The pool is beautiful and crystal clear. The laundry and bathroom facilities are fabulous. All the sites have a concrete patio. We'll definitely be back. We camped at All About Relaxing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Texan RV Ranch, Mansfield, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here mid September for 3 nights. We stay here every year when we prep our trailer for storage following our annual trip. Great laundry facility, lovely pool and nice large sites. Not to mention all the shopping and restaurants on the doorstep. We'll be back again next year. We camped at Texan RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Grand Canyon / Williams KOA, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Red cinder and very uneven sites. Our self levelling wouldn't work without another 4 inches of packing on some of the legs. Junior at check-in didn't give out full info pack and when asked about visiting the Grand Canyon I was told to drive straight up the road! Laundry a huge disappointment. Not enough machine and they don't perform well. However the park is ideal for visiting the Grand Canyon but take a Papillon Helicopter, it's fabulous! We camped at Grand Canyon / Williams KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Horse Thief Campground & RV Resort, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 6 nights on one of their large pull though sites. Yes it was nice and long but the pull through itself wasn't graded properly and the surrounding ground was very uneven. Poor wifi and cell reception wasn't good, but the thing that was unacceptable was the lack of water at breakfast time rendering our own facilities useless. Built with primitive camping in mind. We camped at Horse Thief Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
