Big Texan RV Ranch (formerly Amarillo Ranch RV Park), Amarillo, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2007 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I stopped for one night in February and liked it so much we stayed two weeks. We then went on with our journey and came back to this park and stayed for another 6 days. We had some problems with our motorhome on our first stay and the owner/manager went out of his way to help us not only find the parts but also helped us repair our motorhome. The sites were very clean, large and the staff was super friendly. Even though I-40 is close by and convenient, the noise was not that bad as described. As for the airplane noise, there is a SAC base near by and once in a while during the day a plane would fly over. As for the issue of the odor from the feed lots, when you're in cattle country, you should expect what comes with it when the wind blows in the right direction. Yes, we will return to this RV park any time we are in the neighborhood even if we have to travel out of our way to get there. We camped at Big Texan RV Ranch (formerly Amarillo Ranch RV Park) in a Motorhome.
