The facility and grounds are clean and the creek is beautiful. However, beware quiet time and lights out is 10pm. We were asked to turn our single strip of awning lights out is at 10pm. Makes it almost impossible to continue talking at that point. They will come to your camper and ask you to turn your lights out. Lastly, there is no cell service and we were there for 3 days. They advertise free Wi-Fi however beware it is limited. You will be asked not to go to certain sites and if you visit those sites your internet will be disconnected and not turned back on for 24 hours. That in our opinion was controlling and aggressive. No connection with your outside family. Your jet pack won't work either, unless you take it town, FYI. Overall it was disappointing when all we came to do was relax, sit by the water, visit with another family, eat and camp.
The roads on the way to the campground are just wide enough for the camper. The last 4 miles or so are filled with lots of bad turns that include switch backs. You will find yourself going into the other lane very often. Be careful for the rocks as well. We camped at Mountain Stream RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Linville Caverns and Falls are within about 30 minutes drive. We did that in one day.
