Poverty Point Reservoir State Park, Delhi, Louisiana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Had read other positive reviews of this state park and put it on the itinerary. LA state parks are just plain different. Free laundry equipment, air conditioned bath houses, big level sites, cheap, a pool or beach, well maintained, etc. Unlike our home state where every park is underfunded and most are nearing decline, the LA ones we did were darn inviting. This one was quite nice so stay a few days and fish, swim, do wash, relax. Like all others, go on a weekday. We camped at Poverty Point Reservoir State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Kerrville-Schreiner Park, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a muni gov operated city park on a great location of the Guadalupe River. Kind of a hidden gem. We like #215 for our Scamp 19.

Limited WiFi, no cable but TV from San Antonio and AT&T LTE for your own hotspot. We camped at Kerrville-Schreiner Park in a Travel Trailer.

Deer Crossing RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Very accommodating hosts in this nice small park. Owners developed and built it. Easy to get in/out, good hookups, fine scenery. Lots to do in Ruidosa area but this park doesn't jamb you in door to door like those in town. Bring your pitching wedge and practice on their mini driving range.

No cable and cell up on the hiway. I couldn't get TV reception w/antenna. Rec room w/lots of books and DVDs. We camped at Deer Crossing RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
