Whisper Mountain Campground & RV Park, Roanoke, West Virginia
Date of Stay:
June, 2016 -
$37.00
Overall Rating:
The campground is the most expensive we have ever stayed at on top of that your visitors have to pay 3$ a person to walk in the campground no matter how long they stay. There was absolutely no privacy. The bathrooms are located in the house the owners live in. The small pool is in their back yard. We could only swim once the pool is pad locked and we were watched our entire stay. Maybe because we were the only people camping I'm not sure but there was absolutely no privacy. One of the owners continuously rode her side by side to make sure she was paid if there were any visitors, but if you have an atv you may not ride it in the campground you have to unload outside the gate. It does have a pond for catch and release fishing. It is a clean campground. We will not return. We camped at Whisper Mountain Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
