Lake Shetek State Park, Currie, Minnesota

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

None of the sites seem level. Shady but still some sun in Oak woods section of park that has only electrical (NO water.) Our fire pit was in an odd location for the site. The bugs around the fire at night were not too bad. The bathrooms were clean and we never had to wait. We ran the AC the entire time and had no problems with electrical supply. Our site had a tree strewn view of the lake. The lake was great for kayaking and fishing. Caught a 25" pike while there. Also enjoyed biking the park and Loon Island. Our biggest issue was with all the dogs barking and whining. We had 9 dogs to 4 sites. And kids on bikes going way too fast to be in control. We camped at Lake Shetek State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground, Apple Valley, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Really enjoyed the site due to the semi-seclusion. Was quiet and had lakes to swim, kayak and hiking. Mountain biking is very near campground. Would definitely camp here again. We camped at Lebanon Hills Regional Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Bray Park, Madison Lake, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are fine and I have always liked the lake. The beach and rental of kayaks and SUP's are great. However the water supply smelled like rotten eggs and lake water and the mosquitoes were horrible! They need to deal with both situations immediately. I was really disappointed because it was really nice 2 years ago when I stayed there. We camped at Bray Park in a Travel Trailer.
