Stopped for one night. Pull through level and easy to use. New park with good facilities. Several new trees planted. All gravel. Did not need to unhook. Gravel gets in sandals when walking around. Roads and site all gravel. Park was almost empty. We camped at Springerville RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:
Nice clean facility. Great dog areas. Water hook up at rear on wrong side of trailer. All small gravel with concrete pad adjacent to rig. Tight parking for truck. Rate based on weekly rate. Sites are close together. No shade. S mall stones get in sandals when walking around site. I would stay there again when in the area visiting family. We camped at Meridian RV Resort (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Illinois Beach State Park, Zion, Illinois
Date of Stay:
July, 2016 -
$25.00
Overall Rating:
This park is one of our favorite places. Sites are shaded and large enough for our trailer. Love being on the lake. Normally we see several deer but this year we have only seen two. We camped at Illinois Beach State Park in a Travel Trailer.
Events on the beach. Resort restaurant has good food. Trail to walk or ride bike.

Great place for an overnight. Sites are clean, roads are gravel but not dirty or rough. Sites are very tight together with no shade. You cannot leave awning out if not in unit. Ours went into the roadway when extended. We camped at Alton RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Italian restaurant in next town was very good-worth the drive. (About 5 miles)

New River Campground, Gauley Bridge, West Virginia
Date of Stay:
July, 2016 -
$36.00
Overall Rating:
Park went through a bad flood and was a mess with mud. Lots of new gravel to help. Even with the new gravel the trailer wheels were sinking some. Leveling blocks under wheels were sinking. Power level at pedestal showed low voltage but the surge guard did not kick things off. I would stay there again but watch the weather and flood conditions before planning to visit. We camped at New River Campground in a Travel Trailer.
