Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Love this park and its feel of being in the forest. The sites are nice and the park didn't even feel overcrowded during July 4th weekend. There is a nice pool and store and it is well maintained and security roams around all the time. There was a camper with a fire too big by our site and was told to tone it down . All pets were on leashes and it seemed that owners picked up after them . The place is pretty quiet and has families and tourists and less of that party feel that some parks have. We will be back. We camped at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging in a Travel Trailer.

Riverland Resorts, Kingsburg, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived on a Friday nite hoping for a decent last night of vacation before heading home. We arrived and had to wait 30 minutes for checking in because they were at lunch. Lady was nice but gave us a spot that an RV was already in so we took a grass spot which was mostly dirt with cigarette butts everywhere. Water and electric worked good but space was small between RV's. We ended up in the party section so with the train and freeway noise I realized we weren't in Kansas anymore!

The sites were just not maintained and it looked like longtime residents were there. The other sites on gravel were better but still had a trailer park feel.

This place screams for security and a crew to maintain it. There were beer cans and trash everywhere and the pet leash rule was not enforced so beware if you have dogs. There was noise from other campers into the night and I don't think quiet times are even in the rule section. Freeway noise was bad but that's not the parks problem. It's the lack of personnel and security and maintenance. And a park like this needs operators to be there at least 12 hours a day.

Wish it was better and with a lot of help it could be. Wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Riverland Resorts in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Unless you want to stay up late and party and listen to loud drunk people and dodge trash. Loose dogs, and no security, stay somewhere else!
