Arrowhead Marina & RV Park, Schenectady, New York

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Right along the Mohawk River. Very friendly staff. They don't take credit cards. Satellite reception was good using Dish and the Eastern arc. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sugar Loafin' RV Campground & Cabins, Leadville, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

A full hookup campground with great views of the highest mountain in Colorado. Those are the great things about this RV campground. Everything else was average at best. The sites were dirt, we needed to use blocks for additional leveling, and the roads were fairly tight. But, if you want to stay in the Leadville area in an RV, it is one of two choices and certainly doable. I must say there were two problems during our three night stay. The first was the mix up in site reservations by the campground. We had two 50 amp sites reserved and one of them was double booked for one night. The second program was our section of the county lost power for about an hour one evening. We camped at Sugar Loafin' RV Campground & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This was the perfect place for our stay. It is close to Navarre Beach where the water and beach are great. The park was easy to get into and the sites were of adequate size. There was a limited amount of shade, but the sites were aligned to take keep the door side in the shade as much as possible. We had a 10 year old granddaughter with us and the beach at the park was a big hit with her. She also enjoyed the ice cream sundaes and the craft activities. The area wasn't overly "touristy" and groceries and a Walmart were within a mile or so of the park. If we visit the area again, we will definitely stay at this park. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Navarre Beach is just across the bridge. I would recommend going west past the hotels for the best beach area with few people and an easy surf.

Cullman Campground, Cullman, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The campground was very good for an overnight stay. It was a little tight maneuvering in the park. It was also tight getting to the park as the access was on a country road that was narrow and very twisted. They suggest using a paved road but your GPS may take you down a gravel road which is straighter. We were placed in sight number 71 a pullthrough site. I would consider staying here again, but would prefer a park that was a little easier to get to. We camped at Cullman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Northgate RV Travel Park, Athens, Alabama

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A great place for an overnight stop on the way to Florida. No amenities like a pool, but the sites are all pull throughs so we didn't have to unhook. The sites are stone, and generally level. We would stay again if passing through. We camped at Northgate RV Travel Park in a Fifth Wheel.
