Lake Huron Campground, Carsonville, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Booked a full hookup site for 2 nights form $105. A bit pricey, but no big deal. When I checked in they handed me 2 wristbands that they said we needed to wear so they knew we belonged there. I told them I needed 5 because my kids were with us. My kid are 19, 22 and 24...no longer kids I guess but what they did was ridiculous. The charged me an additional $15 per adult child per night for a total of $90. Have you ever paid $100 a night for a campsite???? I surely haven't. I was mad, but only had a kid to talk to about it. They had me over a barrel either way--if I walked away I would have lost $105. My only recourse was this bad review. Be careful if you stay there. If you get there early you're charged $15, leave late $15, etc. Everything has a fee. Nice campground, but not that nice! We camped at Lake Huron Campground in a Travel Trailer.
