Moraine, Lee Vining, California

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We love this place. It isn't open all of the time as it is an overflow campground. Many sites are directly on the stream with lots of trees. Provided at each site is a campfire ring, picnic table and a bear locker for food/coolers. Porta-potties are provided in a few locations but you need a flashlight at night. Campground sign is easy to miss and the name of the campground is not visible from the road. Public water is along Hwy 120 before the campground turnoff. Be sure to try out the food and entertainment at the Mobil station at the corner of Hwy 395 and 120. As well there is a dump station ($10). We camped at Moraine in a Fifth Wheel.
