Spring Branch RV Park, Spring Branch, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very well run park, with good gravel sites, hookups on concrete pads, asphalt roads throughout the campground, and management who shows a real interest in keeping the park an upscale place. Nicest campground near Canyon Lake, with easy access to San Antonio, Boerne, Johnson City, and New Braunfels. Restrooms are very large, family style, well-equipped and always clean. No pool on premises, but with the lake and rivers nearby, you don't miss it. We would definitely return to this RV resort. We camped at Spring Branch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Falling Star RV Resort, Dale, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2008 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here less than a year ago and really enjoyed our stay so decided to come back while we were fleeing Hurricane Ike in the Houston area. They have now added a wonderful clubhouse and a second cabin and this time we enjoyed the lovely pool and sunsets over the lake. We even rented one of the very well-equipped cabins for our daughter's family for a couple of nights and she commented on all the nice little touches inside. These campground owners truly want you to enjoy your stay and go out of their way to make all campers feel at home while visiting that part of Texas. We camped at Lake Falling Star RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Lake Falling Star RV Resort, Dale, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Great quiet campground that sits on a knoll above a lovely lake. Very friendly, family-oriented place, as the owners live on site and mix and mingle with the campers. Beautiful pool and hot tub area. Restrooms are clean and family style, as is the laundry room. There is a great cabin available for rent too. We enjoyed our four night stay here and plan to return in the near future. We camped at Lake Falling Star RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Olde Stone Village RV Park, McMinnville, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2007 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice clean, well landscaped park. Concrete sites with small grass patch and occasional tree in-between. Nice wide park entrance and easy park to maneuver a big rig. Good WiFi, large cable TV selection, good power and water. We would definitely stay here again, especially for the price. We camped at Olde Stone Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Port of Newport RV Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2007 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Good location across street from the Aquarium and down the block from Marine Science Center. Sites overlook the Newport marina, Newport bay and the bridge. All blacktop park with small landscaped areas in-between sites. Clean park with easy in and out. Only real negative is the poor WiFi and there is no clubhouse to get better reception. Would stay here again if passing through Newport. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
