Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Easy Check in, park is easy to maneuver in, great park security. We had a FHU Deluxe Pull-thru site that was concrete pad, with room to park both the 42' 5th wheel & truck. Each site has a picnic table and grass or dirt bordering each site. Sites are placed diagonally for what seems to be more space between neighbors. The bathrooms/showers are all very nice clean & spacious. The laundry is reasonable. My wi-fi worked great at my site. They have both a kids pool and hot tub & pool for adults. Both pools are very large, nice and kept up. They have a restaurant onsite, along with a store that sells anything you might need. Great Uber service to the strip. Park is located just off I-15. The dog park is good size. The park is located only 25 mi from the Hoover Dam or Lake Mead. Delta - Hwy/Airport noise at night & during the day. The grounds aren't kept up like you would think they should be for a park like this. The golf putting course is an overgrown mess. Weeds are pretty much covering each RV site. The cable TV is not the best. Too many washing machines/dryers are out of order waiting to be fixed. Don't get trapped by the woman trying to sell you what comes to an RV overpriced timeshare in the office area . The restaurant/bar closes at 14:00 each day, so your out of luck getting something while at the pool area. No more than 20' spacing' to your neighbor at any site. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Fort Beale RV Park, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Very clean & kept up park. Long FHU gravel pull-thru's in the center of the park. Park is easy to maneuver in and sites are big enough to unhook with room to park. Picnic table at each site with good wi-fi and cable TV. Park is open to use a dish if desired. Bathrooms/showers are clean and up to date. The laundry is clean and reasonable priced. The park is very close to any stores, gas, entertainment in Kingman. Delta - Some train and traffic noise at night, but tolerable. Would use this park again for a stay. We camped at Fort Beale RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Great stop to see Meteor Crater, very easy park to maneuver in & very clean. We were put in FHU gravel site 16, that was plenty big enough for our 42' rig. We had room to unhook and park the truck. The site was normal for RV spacing between neighbors. The park Wi-fi was excellent and we used our dish for TV. The office had a store for supplies and a Mobile station attached that had both Diesel & Gas. The showers and laundry were very nice and clean and they had a dog run. They have discounts for Meteor Crater Park. Delta - No cable TV, could hear a little hwy noise from I-40 which is close. If you need Diesel fuel you can take a nap waiting for your tank to fill (slowest pumps I've ever seen), not sure how the gas pumps are. Shower water was not the hottest. Would definitely stop here again!! We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Not far from I-40, close to shopping, fuel, restaurants. Park is easy to maneuver in, we stayed in the new part with plenty of room for the RV & Tow to pull in. Sites are all gravel with a picnic table. The laundry is clean and reasonable. The shower/bathrooms are clean and nice. To cold to use the pool, but it looked nice. Small store in the office area that sells some food and other things. Deltas - Most pull-thru sites are opposing each other, so it makes you very close to your neighbor. The new section sites are very close also. Wi-fi was terrible and did not work, no cable tv. The park is located at the end of the town airport, so planes are coming in/going just over your head at all hours. Did hear a train at night in the distance, but not to loud. People were just walking their dogs on the park roads. They do sell propane, but no one there that could fill my tank. Good place for one or two nights. Price was right! We camped at USA RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Route 66 RV Park, Edgewood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Easy to maneuver in the park with large pull-thru sites. You will be guided to your site. Park is located just off the interstate & close to any supplies you need. Utilities for the park where new in my section. Best wi-fi going, but I was parked next to the wi-fi transmitter. Deltas - The sites are dirt/gravel and can be dusty when it is windy. Can hear some road noise from I-40 at times. Only two washing machines/dryers and two unisex showers to use. Laundry was expensive at $3.00 a load. There is nothing to do in town or the rv park at night. I used my dish for TV, didn't see any cable. No dog area. Park is made up of mostly full time residents. Park is good for a quick overnight stay. We camped at Route 66 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Just off I-40 yet quiet, close to stores/restaurants/fuel, friendly staff. Good stop to visit the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert. Clean laundry & clean bath house with large private showers. Free coffee & muffins every morning in the office. Picnic table at each site. RV supplies sold in office. Our site was a pull thru with the (2) sites next to us running in the opposite direction. Made for a long site for parking vehicles Delta. Wi-fi was really slow and wouldn't work at times. Park is dirt & stone; when the wind blows there is a lot of dust. Can be close to your neighbor. We did hear a train way off in the distance once in awhile. The park had cable TV, but we used our dish. We would stay here again if in this area. Park is very close to any supplies you need from Holbrook. It is a 24 mile drive to the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert NP. We camped at OK RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pro's - spacious sites, good restaurant/bar on property, close to shopping, free citrus, many activities, good garbage pick-up, close to interstate. Con's - noisy (aircraft/vehicle traffic), constant dogs barking, dumpy/unkept sites (full timers), small children running all over, internet not the best, $$$ We camped at Tucson / Lazydays KOA in a Motorhome.

Verde River RV Resort & Cottages , Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Stopped here on our way South for the winter. Everything is brand new in the park. The laundry & bathrooms/showers are very up to date and clean. Sewer hook up needs work, but is usable. The pool area is one of the nicest we have seen. Their cottages are brand new and all have a nice porch. I was given a FHU dirt/gravel pull-thru that was plenty big enough for my RV. Sites are staggered, but you still are 25'-30' from your neighbor. Wifi worked at better times of the day. I was able to use my dish and most spots are in the open. Landscaping was ongoing during our visit. Once all the upgrades are completed this will be a 5 star park. We camped at Verde River RV Resort & Cottages in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Park is located in town and close to all shopping. Pull-thru & back-ins are more than adequate. You are close to your neighbors. The park is shaded, so a dish will not work and their cable TV has very limited channels. They advertise wi-fi, but it is non-existant. You will need your own hot spot. Good overnight stop. Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Since my last visit here last year, the park is starting to look run down. It looks like no money coming in is going back into the park. Sites are full of ruts & not kept up. Showers could use some new curtains. Three washing machines for the whole park, with one out of order. The wi-fi still works well and they still have the ice cream social. Nugget RV Park, St. Regis, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Park is located just east of town in a beautiful setting. We were given a gravel FHU pull/thru for our 42' 5th wheel. Our site had grass, picnic table, great satellite reception, and some shade. The wi-fi was poor, but my hot spot worked fine. Laundry and showers we up to date & very clean, but the showers are just a little small. Owners are very friendly and you can tell they take pride in the park. The sites are all level and the park is easy to maneuver in. I had plenty of room to unhook & park my truck. For kids they had a playground, pool, games and hiking trails. If you like golfing; a beautiful (9) holes course is just 2 miles away with some great discounts. Clearwater Crossing RV Park, Orofino, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park is in town right on the Clearwater River Banks. All site overlook the river. I had a pull/thru FHU for my 42' 5th wheel. I had plenty of room for both the RV & Truck. Back in sites are gravel & pull/thru's are black top. Each site has a concrete patio and picnic table. The showers and laundry are up to date and very clean. They have cable TV and I was able to use my dish along with good wi-fi. Sites are level and the park is easy to get around in. The park is well kept, except for a few full time renters that have messy sites. Park is located in a beautiful area of ID. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

All sites have a concrete patio with a picnic table & are quite spacious. The laundry & bathrooms are very clean and up to date. I used my dish, but the cable tv had quite a few channels listed. Park is in town and close to any supplies you might need. I was given FHU pull/thru for my 42' 5th wheel. The sites are level concrete pads with astro turf picnic areas with a picnic table. I just had enough room to park my truck after unhooking. The sites are fairly close together, but the picnic area is big enough. The cable tv & wi-fi are great here.
