Hidden Oasis RV Park, Wikieup, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Pro: Big enough site to stayed hooked up to my 42' 5th wheel for the night. I had a FHU gravel pull-thru at $25 a night. Nice little store and restaurant, but we didn't try the food. Good digital TV reception. I didn't try their wi-fi Con: My site wasn't satellite friendly, but some sites are. You do hear road noise as the park is just off Hwy 93. I would stay here again if passing through. We camped at Hidden Oasis RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cons: The bathroom aren't the biggest and I didn't use the laundry. Nothing for kids There is road noise from Hwy 93, but no trains. Great over night stop. Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort), Challis, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Pro: The pull through sites are very big with a gravel pad and a picnic table. Sites are level with some small shade trees at each. Site are dish friendly and very scenic. A grocery store is right across the hwy from the park and has anything you will need. The bathroom/laundry looks brand new and are clean. A small play ground and pavilion are in the park. The park is priced right and pretty empty this time of year Cons: For the size of the park (49 sites) it looks like they could have a bigger bathroom and laundry when full. I didn't use the park's Wi-FI so can't comment. Will stay here again if in this area looking for a park. We camped at Round Valley RV Park (formerly Challis Valley RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Birdland Bay RV Resort, Thompson Falls, Montana

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Park is easy to maneuver in. Sites are plenty big enough for my 42' 5th wheel. Sites are some of the biggest from my neighbors I have seen. My site was a FHU, gravel pull-thru w/grass and a picnic table. My site was satellite friendly. The park is in a very pretty area of Montana. The camp hosts are very accommodating. The laundry/bathrooms were clean and up to date. The park it self is clean and kept up. Town, golf course are very close to the park. Delta - Trains, Trains, Trains. Do not enter the park from Birdland Road, if coming from the N. on I-200. There is 13' - 6" bridge at its tallest point you will go under. Enter the park from Blue Slide Road >Birdland Road. Would stay here again. We camped at Birdland Bay RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Ravenwood RV Resort, Athol, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Fairly new park with both back-ins and pull-thru sites. Easy to maneuver in and the sites are level and plenty big enough. I was given a FHU gravel pull-thru for my 42' 5th wheel. The site had a grass area and picnic table. Plenty of space between neighbors. The site was satellite friendly and the tv antenna drew in 12 good stations. The park is more for families, as there is a large water & theme park just up the road from where they draw from. Park is well kept and the staff is very friendly. Delta - No showers or laundry. Expensive rates for what you get for your money. I would stay here again for sure. We camped at Ravenwood RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Canyon Pines RV Resort, Riggins, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Park is situated in a beautiful canyon right next to the Little Salmon River. Park is easy to maneuver in with both pull-thru and back in sites. I was given a power, water, pull-thru site that was plenty big enough for my 42' 5th wheel. I was able to stay hooked to my truck for the night. The sites are gravel with grass and a picnic table. The office/store is very nice with all kinds of supplies you could need. They have many videos to rent if you desire. The wi-fi worked well and I used my satellite for TV. The laundry/bathrooms are clean and up to date. The owners are very accommodating and run a very nice clean park. Will come again for sure. Delta - No sewer connections, but there is a pump out station. My AT&T Iphone did not have phone service here. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Ambassador RV Resort, Caldwell, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - I was given a FHU pull-thru site for my 42' 5th wheel. The park is very easy to maneuver in and the sites are stone with a nice concrete patio with a grass lawn and picnic table. I had plenty of room to unhook from the RV and park. Sites are spacious and satellite friendly. The rec. room is very nice and they have a large area for cook outs. The pool area wasn't open yet, but looked very nice. The park is a few miles from any kind of shopping you desire. The wi-fi worked very well. The laundry & showers are very nice and clean. The laundry is very reasonable. Pet areas were very nice. Delta - The only thing I found bad with the park was that it is close to the county airport and their is a lot of small plane noise during the day. Park is not far off the interstate and just a few miles from town for shopping. We camped at Ambassador RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Twin Falls 93 RV Park, Filer, Idaho

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - The section of the park we were put in is brand new. The park is very easy to maneuver in. Our site was a gravel FHU pull-thru with a grassy area on each side and picnic table. The site had plenty of room for our 42' 5th wheel and room to unhook and park. Not close to neighbors. The office sold some supplies/RV stuff and the staff is great. The wi-fi was great as was ATT. The laundry/shower area was clean and up to date. The park is Satellite friendly. The park is very clean, including where the permanent residents live. The park is 5 miles from town for shopping. Cons - Road noise as you are close to the Hwy. More laundry machines & showers needed for this size of park. No cable TV. Park is a great place for a stay, will stop again. Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Easy Check in, park is easy to maneuver in, great park security. We had a FHU Deluxe Pull-thru site that was concrete pad, with room to park both the 42' 5th wheel & truck. Each site has a picnic table and grass or dirt bordering each site. Sites are placed diagonally for what seems to be more space between neighbors. The bathrooms/showers are all very nice clean & spacious. The laundry is reasonable. My wi-fi worked great at my site. They have both a kids pool and hot tub & pool for adults. Both pools are very large, nice and kept up. They have a restaurant onsite, along with a store that sells anything you might need. Great Uber service to the strip. Park is located just off I-15. The dog park is good size. The park is located only 25 mi from the Hoover Dam or Lake Mead. Delta - Hwy/Airport noise at night & during the day. The grounds aren't kept up like you would think they should be for a park like this. The golf putting course is an overgrown mess. Weeds are pretty much covering each RV site. The cable TV is not the best. Too many washing machines/dryers are out of order waiting to be fixed. Don't get trapped by the woman trying to sell you what comes to an RV overpriced timeshare in the office area . The restaurant/bar closes at 14:00 each day, so your out of luck getting something while at the pool area. No more than 20' spacing' to your neighbor at any site. We camped at Oasis Las Vegas RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Pro - Very clean & kept up park. Long FHU gravel pull-thru's in the center of the park. Park is easy to maneuver in and sites are big enough to unhook with room to park. Picnic table at each site with good wi-fi and cable TV. Park is open to use a dish if desired. Bathrooms/showers are clean and up to date. The laundry is clean and reasonable priced. The park is very close to any stores, gas, entertainment in Kingman. Delta - Some train and traffic noise at night, but tolerable. Would use this park again for a stay. Meteor Crater RV Park, Winslow, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Great stop to see Meteor Crater, very easy park to maneuver in & very clean. We were put in FHU gravel site 16, that was plenty big enough for our 42' rig. We had room to unhook and park the truck. The site was normal for RV spacing between neighbors. The park Wi-fi was excellent and we used our dish for TV. The office had a store for supplies and a Mobile station attached that had both Diesel & Gas. The showers and laundry were very nice and clean and they had a dog run. They have discounts for Meteor Crater Park. Delta - No cable TV, could hear a little hwy noise from I-40 which is close. If you need Diesel fuel you can take a nap waiting for your tank to fill (slowest pumps I've ever seen), not sure how the gas pumps are. Shower water was not the hottest. Would definitely stop here again!! We camped at Meteor Crater RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

USA RV Park, Gallup, New Mexico

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Not far from I-40, close to shopping, fuel, restaurants. Park is easy to maneuver in, we stayed in the new part with plenty of room for the RV & Tow to pull in. Sites are all gravel with a picnic table. The laundry is clean and reasonable. The shower/bathrooms are clean and nice. To cold to use the pool, but it looked nice. Small store in the office area that sells some food and other things. Deltas - Most pull-thru sites are opposing each other, so it makes you very close to your neighbor. The new section sites are very close also. Wi-fi was terrible and did not work, no cable tv. The park is located at the end of the town airport, so planes are coming in/going just over your head at all hours. Did hear a train at night in the distance, but not to loud. People were just walking their dogs on the park roads. They do sell propane, but no one there that could fill my tank. Good place for one or two nights. Price was right! Overall Rating:

Pro - Easy to maneuver in the park with large pull-thru sites. You will be guided to your site. Park is located just off the interstate & close to any supplies you need. Utilities for the park where new in my section. Best wi-fi going, but I was parked next to the wi-fi transmitter. Deltas - The sites are dirt/gravel and can be dusty when it is windy. Can hear some road noise from I-40 at times. Only two washing machines/dryers and two unisex showers to use. Laundry was expensive at $3.00 a load. There is nothing to do in town or the rv park at night. I used my dish for TV, didn't see any cable. No dog area. Park is made up of mostly full time residents. Park is good for a quick overnight stay. We camped at Route 66 RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Pro - Just off I-40 yet quiet, close to stores/restaurants/fuel, friendly staff. Good stop to visit the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert. Clean laundry & clean bath house with large private showers. Free coffee & muffins every morning in the office. Picnic table at each site. RV supplies sold in office. Our site was a pull thru with the (2) sites next to us running in the opposite direction. Made for a long site for parking vehicles Delta. Wi-fi was really slow and wouldn't work at times. Park is dirt & stone; when the wind blows there is a lot of dust. Can be close to your neighbor. We did hear a train way off in the distance once in awhile. The park had cable TV, but we used our dish. We would stay here again if in this area. Park is very close to any supplies you need from Holbrook. It is a 24 mile drive to the Petrified Forest & Painted Desert NP. We camped at OK RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
