East Shore RV Park, San Dimas, California
Date of Stay:
September, 2017 -
$74.00
Overall Rating:
We chose this location due to being near family for visiting. Not worth the price but then this is LA. Our stay was miserable because of ants that invaded our coach. It was a constant battle to kill hundreds of ants several times a day. After seeing the ants in the coach we noticed that there were several empty ant traps in the space and then noticed the ant mounds. We notified the office and were offered to move but at a higher price. When we said we needed to move because of their problem they could care less. We were told there are ants all over the park and the we are in nature. We will not return. Our site was fairly spacious but severely out of level. Other sites are very close to each other. We camped at East Shore RV Park in a Motorhome.

MorWood Campground and Resort, Hazelton, Iowa
Date of Stay:
August, 2016 -
$32.00
Overall Rating:
Remote location to any town but quiet with good walking trails. Gravel sites are mostly level. Good 20' of grass between sites. Good power, water and sewer hookups. Pool is clean but shallow. 4.6" at deepest. Pool is very crowded on weekends. Park is empty during the week and fills up quickly Friday, starting at noon. Lots of young families in trailers and 5th wheels. There were only a few motorhomes. Apx 90 sites. Only downside is the gravel 1 mile road to get to the park off of 150. Owners take great pride in keeping the park spotless. We camped at MorWood Campground and Resort in a Motorhome.
Visit the Amish bakeries and produce market (Amish Auction House) All great food. Don't park under the trees in August as nuts will drop on your RV.
