Seattle / Tacoma KOA, Kent, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This is the worst RV park we have stayed at. We barely fit into our "deluxe" pull through. Site was dirty, very tight and had to move the picnic table out of the neighbors site to get our slide out. We booked for two nights but left after the first night as it was too awful to stay another night. I'm surprised KOA allows their name on this campground. Do yourself a favor and find another place to stay. We camped at Seattle / Tacoma KOA in a Travel Trailer.

West Glacier KOA, West Glacier, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

This is the nicest KOA we have been to. Our site was landscaped very well and offered lots of privacy. The roads can be a bit dusty but really didn't bother us. The park has a lot of room to walk your dog and an enclosure if you want to your dog run. We very much enjoyed our time here and will return in the future. I would and do recommend this KOA. We camped at West Glacier KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Jordanelle State Park, Heber City, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice state park with great views of the mountains and lake. Site was paved but needed to level the trailer a bit. The sites have lots of room and a good distance between sites. The park is a short drive to Park City. We will definitely make a return visit in the future. We camped at Jordanelle State Park in a Travel Trailer.

This KOA is the best Journey KOA we have stayed at. The site were level with large trees for shade. They have nice grass areas between sites and easy access to the freeway. We will definitely stay here again. I would recommend this KOA. We camped at Fillmore KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground, Virgin, Utah

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

One of our favorite places to stay. The people that work at the park are very professional, friendly, and helpful. I highly recommend this park to anyone going to visit Zion NP. The only negative with this park is the phone service and wifi is pretty bad. I understand they are working on getting this fixed. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Beware: the city of Springdale which boarders the NP has installed metered parking all over the city including all along highway 9 (the main road through Springdale) all the way to the start of Rockville. The cost to park in a lot just outside the NP is $20.00. In town the meters start at $1.00 for the first hour but jumps to $3.50 an hour there after. If you spend the day in the park plan on spending $20.00 plus for parking outside of the NP parking lot.

Cheyenne Mountain State Park, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We really enjoyed our time at this park. We had great views from out site and it is very private. Lots of walking trails and close to stores and other attractions. The site we had was very large but FYI, the angle of the driveway into the site made it impossible for me to release my sway bars. I had to pull my trailer back out of the site to where it was level to remove the sway bars and then back into the site again to finish disconnecting. The site itself was very level. I would request this site again. We camped at Cheyenne Mountain State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Manor RV Park, Estes Park, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

The staff at the park were helpful and nice. The park is very old and in need of renovation. The sites are very tight. We had only 9 feet from our trailer to the slide out of the motor home next to us. Couldn't use the picnic table because the slide on the neighbors rig was even with the bench. The sites are not well kept and the sewer system needs to be renovated. During rain the sewer connection is underwater. This park could be nice but they need to reduce the number of sites to give more room to today's RVs with slides. For the price you pay this park is not worth it. We camped at Manor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mountain Gate RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park, very easy to get in and out of. When we first arrived and started to hook up to utilities, we found that we had a problem with the 30 amp electrical hook up. I went to the park office and told them about the issue and they jumped on it right away. It was 109 degrees out side and the park manager was out there for about an hour and got it fixed. The people that run this park are first class, very helpful the entire stay. The bathrooms and showers we very clean and well taken care of. The laundry room was also well maintained.

If you are going to stay in Redding CA I would highly recommend this park. We camped at Mountain Gate RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tall Chief RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Fall City, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Compared to all the other parks we stayed at over our 7 week vacation, I would rate this park sub par. The park has a great wooded setting which is the best thing about Tall Chief. The sites were not well maintained, the bathroom / showers were dirty and rusted.

The pool area was nice and great for kids. I would not recommend this park. It needs a major overhaul. We camped at Tall Chief RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.
