Bay Mills RV Park, Brimley, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This was the second time we've stayed here. It is a nice RV park, decent sized, level sites, convenient hookups. There isn't much in the area, so be sure you bring groceries with you. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bay Mills RV Park, Brimley, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This park is basically a field with hookups, nothing fancy but suits the purpose well. Very little (or no) shade but that helps if you want satellite access! All pull thru sites. There isn't much in this area except the casino. We drove to Tahquamenon Falls (worth the drive any day), good place to stay while passing thru. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

There isn't a lot to do in this area, other than enjoying nature's scenery. Tahquamenon Falls is worth the drive. Bring your own groceries and a full gas tank . . . there simply isn't much in this area other than a couple of bars and a casino.

Higgins Lake / Roscommon KOA, Roscommon, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park, reasonable price, good location. The sites are tight. Mostly 30 amp sites, only 4 or 5 with 50 amp. The management was rigid. Our neighbors were construction workers, working 3rd shift and sleeping during the day. They had two pickup trucks in their parking space, the trucks did not affect our site at all, and the management insisted on making them move one truck. Also we had some friends come to pick us up to go out and they tried to charge our friends a $14 facility use fee to drive back and get us. Overall a good place to stay if you are visiting Northern Michigan. Sites are shady, don't even think about satellite TV. We camped at Higgins Lake / Roscommon KOA in a Motorhome.

Eagle's RV Park, Walterboro, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

we were passing thru the area, the owner was very friendly, escorted us to a site that fit our needs, helped hook things up. Free firewood. Sites are level and small, but met our needs. We would happily stay there again. We camped at Eagle's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Munising / Pictured Rocks KOA, Munising, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Requested to move to a vacant site for better satellite signal and easier connection, they were reluctant to agree to a change. Laundry room is unusable, ceiling tiles missing with illegal electrical wiring exposed. Sewer connection is one foot above ground, making stinky slinky a challenge to empty. As we all know **** flows downhill. Pool looks nice and clean, sign indicates capacity of 70, we counted 12 last night and can't imagine 58 more in there! We camped at Munising / Pictured Rocks KOA in a Motorhome.

Great location, we are not on a waterfront site, but we can see the ships going down the river, hear their whistles as they go by. We camped at Aune-Osborn Campground in a Motorhome.

Lums Pond State Park, Bear, Delaware

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This park was recently updated from mostly tent camping to now mostly RV sites. It needs some time for the grass to fill in, the RV pads could be longer, there isn't room to park a car off the road without being on the grass or mud at most sites. No playground, and the pond does not allow swimming. We will be staying there often (it is near our grandchildren) and we are looking forward to seeing it improve. Please note: the dump station is BACK IN. We camped at Lums Pond State Park in a Motorhome.

Kountry Air RV Park, Prattville, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this campground twice, and both times the owners were wonderful, friendly, helpful. They even gave us fresh vegetables from their garden to go with our dinner. The above ground pool is sparkling and immaculate. We will stay here again just so we can spend time with the owners again, very happy people. We camped at Kountry Air RV Park in a Motorhome.

Philadelphia / West Chester KOA, Coatesville, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice campground with lots of things to keep little people happy (river, woods to hike through, canoes, mini. Golf, pool, playground). the weekend activities are well done. The staff is always friendly and helpful, we have stayed here many times and have never had anyone be less than wonderful. The road leading to the campground is treacherous, narrow, blind curves but nothing the campground can do about that! We camped at Philadelphia / West Chester KOA in a Motorhome.
