Baraboo Hills Campground, Baraboo, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

One of the worst campgrounds I've been to. We chose Baraboo Hills because the website makes it look amazing. Ton of amenities that include pool, swim pond, park, jumping pillow, etc. However, upon our arrival the first thing we noticed was everything is very old and dingy. Then moving on to our site I was shocked at the condition of it. It was mostly gravel with the exception of a small grass area that was full of weeds. The kicker came when we found out you had to purchase 25.00 wristbands in order to use the jumping pillow and a few other amenities. We checked out the swim pond and it was a funny color blue so we never allowed our kids to go in it. The pool area looked clean but needed updating as far as the chairs went. We spent very little time of our 4 day stay in the campground. Decided to keep our days filled in the Dells. I understand why there are no refunds after paying full amount to reserve site, we would have left immediately if we hadn't already paid over 200.00. Will never visit this campground again. We camped at Baraboo Hills Campground in a Travel Trailer.
