Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We've stayed here numerous times. Sits on top of a high plateau, overlooking the city. Great views. They take pride in clean facilities. Service is always good. Close to lots of shopping and it's easy to get downtown. Municipal golf course is just 15 minutes away. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Trinidad Lake State Park, Trinidad, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stop here often when we're traveling I-25. Facilities are very good, sites are well spaced and level. Great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. When coming in from the north, the signage is a bit confusing. Don't take the first left to south shore. Proceed up the road and turn left to the main entrance. We camped at Trinidad Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cedar Bluff State Park - Bluffton Area, Ellis, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very open, spacious, and well manicured site. Roads and pads are paved, level, and flat. Lots of big shade trees. Very nice big mowed lawns at site. Far from interstate so no freeway noise. We are here on a Thursday and campground is near full. Campers are well behaved and respectful. It was over 90 degrees when we arrived but the 30 amp and worked well. Our site had beautiful lake view. Verizon adequate for calls and email. We camped at Cedar Bluff State Park - Bluffton Area in a Travel Trailer.

Deer Creek Valley RV Park, Topeka, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest parks we have stayed in a while. The staff was very friendly. The park is beautiful. Nice wide concrete roads. It's secluded and far enough from I-70 that there is no road noice. Long concrete pull thrus. Patio and picnic table. New utilities in a convenient location and worked well. Park was very well kept. Nice pool area and large playground for kids. The park is gated so call and get the code if you are going to be late. The only negative is that there are no trees thru most of the park, so no shade. Excellent park and we would stay here again. We camped at Deer Creek Valley RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ozarks Mountain Springs RV Park, Mountain View, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice people, nice park, all gravel roads & sites, no pool, some of the facility dated, next to highway very noisy. Some of the sites need weeding. We stopped for just one night. Laundry room has good equipment but quite warm. Services are about 10 miles away. No picnic table. We camped at Ozarks Mountain Springs RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Watch the signs for the park carefully. Easy to miss and our Apple GPS missed the exact turn in. This is a very busy, 60 mph highway with lots of trucks. If you miss the turn in, you'll need to do a U turn.

Rocky Top Campground, Blountville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest parks we've stayed in. You feel like you're in the middle of a Tennessee forest. It's on a country road away from the Interstate, so no road noice at all. Sites were level with lots of huge trees for shade. Nice picnic tables. Owners were very friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer. Other services are a short drive away, including fuel and a Cracker Barrel. We camped at Rocky Top Campground in a Travel Trailer.

One of the nicest parks we've stayed in. You feel like you're in the middle of a large Virginia farm. We didn't use the pool but it looked great. No road noice at all. Sites were level with lots of huge trees for shade. Nice picnic tables. Staff was very friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer. There is a nice little store at the campground. In a beautiful spot not too far off I-70. Quiet, with lots of mature shade trees. Level sites. Nice restrooms and showers. We'd return. Ground maintenance is very good. Very nice picnic tables. Lakeside Marina & Campground, Jamestown, North Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

An interesting city park just outside Jamestown. It's on the same property as a beautiful reservoir but within walking distance of the marina. A nice host came to collect our fee and he apparently oversees the marina as well as the RV park. The host may not be at the Marina when you arrive, but someone is available by phone. Signage in the park could be better. Host came by to collect fee and I wrote him a check. The RV park had only a few campers but apparently it gets very busy on weekends. Lots of beautiful trees and picnic tables. Felt like we were out in the country. Just a few minutes into town. We camped at Lakeside Marina & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hansen Family Campground and Storage, LLC, Havre, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for one night as planned. Nice park in very remote area 10 miles east of Havre. Only a few campers so we felt secluded. Level, gravel roads. Newer infrastructure. Because of its remoteness, it's actually quite beautiful. Horses and cattle graze next to park. Route 2 is main road thru this area of Mt. so day time traffic is heavy and park is adjacent to road. Train traffic is heavy and park is adjacent to tracks. Host was very friendly and helpful. Good place for a one night visit. We camped at Hansen Family Campground and Storage, LLC in a Travel Trailer.

Moose Creek RV Park and B&B (formerly San-Suz-Ed RV Park), West Glacier, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Enjoyed the park. Sites are fairly close, but mitigated by beautiful pine trees that separate each site. Park is well run. This park is immediately adjacent to Route 2, the main road in the area. Road noise is heavy. The park is large and very busy, but because of the woods, we felt secluded. Very convenient to Glacier NP. Some train traffic nearby. We camped at Moose Creek RV Park and B&B (formerly San-Suz-Ed RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Black Sandy State Park, Helena, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Our site was right on the water and we enjoyed great views of the river. The sites are very close together and it is a very busy park. Although it's a bit remote, it felt like we were in a city park. Site was not level on one side so I had to park even closer to the adjacent camper. It's a bit disappointing to be in such a beautiful setting yet happy that we didn't stay more than 1 night. Would not return. Host at entrance was very friendly. We camped at Black Sandy State Park in a Travel Trailer.
