Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA), Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

First spot they gave us was on the back fence. The sewer hook up was unusable so we complained and they were good about it and moved us to a much nicer spot near the front. Hookups look like they have been upgraded in most of the park. The SEMA show was in town so the rates were jacked up, park is a convenient place to stay but you don't get much for $70. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Fort Camping, Fort Langley, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, big trees, secure, close to the river. The roads and sites are gravel but there is lots of grass. Our pull thru site was not very level but level enough for the levelers with a little help from a couple of short pieces of 2 x 8. The trains can be a minor annoyance but not a big issue.

Fort Langley is an interesting place, just a short walk from the campsite. We camped at Fort Camping in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to see within walking distance, old Hudson's Bay fort, farm museum, several good restaurants, a golf course about 4 Km away. The price is a guess, was $38 Canadian.

Shady Lane RV & Trailer Park, Kelowna, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Old and somewhat run down. Lots of permanent residents. The spot we were given was hard to get into and not at all level. The pictures on the website are a bit of an exaggeration. This was the only vacant spot we could find in Kelowna at the time. The operator and the local residents were friendly but don't expect too much, it's not fancy. Getting a spot in Kelowna in the summer can be challenging, but next time we'll try harder. We camped at Shady Lane RV & Trailer Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We only spent overnight but a nice park, I believe it's run by the town.

It's next to the river but access is fenced off, not sure why.

Site number was a guess, it was a pull thru near the back of the park.
