Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch, Big Timber, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Park is old and appears to be many long term residents. However, for the most part, park was "tidy". Park boosts about it's on a blue ribbon trout stream (Boulder river). Well, it is considered that, but not where we were; it was shallow and not very fishable. Restroom was something out of the old west...had an actual toilet, but small room looked like a converted outhouse. 30 Amp electrical was old. Very dark at night on park grounds; no lighting. We wouldn't come back to this park. We camped at Spring Creek Campground and Trout Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

Park is beautiful and right on the Yellowstone River outside of Livingston, Mt. Only half hour to North entrance to Yellowstone Park. Staff not the friendliest, but efficient. Rather expensive but most parks are this close to Yellowstone Park. Bathrooms/Showers clean. Pull-thru site long enough to disconnect from our 5th wheel. We stayed 2 nights and would stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Well kept RV park. New and clean bathrooms/showers. Staff real friendly and helpful. Beautiful area near West Yellowstone which is about 12 miles away. Park and marina is on Hebgen Lake. Boat rentals available. We went fishing one morning and got skunked, but it was fun boating around the lake. We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Village of Trees RV Resort, Declo, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Long enough w/o disconnecting. Electric outlets old and current somewhat erratic. Bathroom/shower not great but ok and clean. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Doubt that we will stay there again as there are other parks close by. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Other commentators mentioned the onsite restaurant was good. Well we wouldn't eat there as it was on the dirty side.

Clark County Shooting Complex, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

RV sites all pull-thru and all gravel, but have full hookups. Great place to stay whether there for shooting sports or just staying in Las Vegas for a while. Can't beat the price. The view of Las Vegas at night was excellent, as you are parked up on a bluff. No cable, but TV reception was great (many channels) and cell reception (AT&T) was 3 bars. Note that although no restrooms, there is one at the grill/shooting club house and there are stand-alone toilets everywhere and the cleanest ones ever. We camped at Clark County Shooting Complex in a Fifth Wheel.

Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp), Nellis AFB, Nevada

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

We had a back-in site just long enough for our truck and 5th wheel. Had full hookups. Nice sites all in wagon wheel configuration making it a little tight backing in. Note that there are very few pull-thru sites. Good dog walks all around. Only negative was the fly boys with their jets going overhead quite a bit. No cable or wifi, but AT&T cell worked great. Redbox and cheap fuel just outside the park. Note...you have to be military/DoD active or retired to use this park. We camped at Desert Eagle RV Park (Military FamCamp) in a Fifth Wheel.

Lost Dutchman State Park, Apache Junction, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful State RV park situated just under the Superstition Mountains. Found it unbelievable that everything was so green, considering it was the desert. We stayed at two sites (79&57) while there. Both were very nice and plenty of space between other RVs. Both were pull-thru sites, with 57 having the longer paved drive as well as a larger site. Both were full hookup. We camped at Lost Dutchman State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Durango RV Resort, Red Bluff, California

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here once before and found it as last time; wonderful!

Concrete pads, most do not require leveling. Bathrooms are clean, showers are free, wifi is better than most and there's cable. All sites are full hookups. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Dogs are welcome and have play area of their own.

We stayed at Durango RV Resort in our Class C RV. We camped at Durango RV Resort in a Motorhome.
