Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA), Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Very well located RV park in the middle of Las Vegas! The park can't be compared to any other typical RV park in the countryside: Asphalt and noise 24/7. We were surprised how comfy the stay was. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the walking distance to the heart of the crazy town. We camped at Circus Circus RV Park (formerly Las Vegas / Circus Circus KOA) in a Motorhome.

Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground, Virgin, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $54.00
Overall Rating:

A very nice and quite RV park - one of the best we have seen during our trip through the Western part of the USA. The park is very nice arranged and has a lot of plants all around. We were happy to have a site near the river. It is a pity that there are not so much showers (and restrooms). You might wait some minutes. The staff is very friendly. The RV park is very well located to visit the Zion NP. We camped at Zion River Resort RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice RV park with very clean restrooms and showers. The park is perfectly located to visite the Bryce Canyon. The sites themselves are quite small and a little bit uneven. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Archview RV Resort & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Extremely spaceous and clean restrooms/showers (in one room). Each site has a BBQ and a table and some shade. The noise of the highway was in evidence. Campground is very well situated to visit the Arches National Park. We camped at Archview RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

A simple RV park with no extraordinary facilities. Clean, nice staff. We had a place just at the end of the campground with a beautiful view on sunset. We camped at Blue Mountain RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA , Pescadero, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $105.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campsite with a lot of facilities. Showers and restrooms are clean but not the newest ones. Sites are big enough and offers a lot of free space around the vehicle. We were very surprised about the enormous price. It costs too much compared to the service (no BBQ at the site, no swimming pool). We camped at Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice campground in the middle of trees and above Carmel. Has swimming pool, rest areas, badminton, bbq at each site. Looks nice! Showers are restroom are limited (one of each) and quite dirty and old. Costs quite much. We camped at Saddle Mountain Ranch Campground in a Motorhome.

Sun & Fun RV Park, Tulare, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Campsite is ok; barbeque and quite big. The showers and restrooms are very clean and spacy. But the noise due to the highway and the railway are enourmous. It wasn't a comfy night! We camped at Sun & Fun RV Park in a Motorhome.

Three Rivers Hideaway, Three Rivers, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

We planned to do a round trip through Sequoia NP and King Canyon NP the next day and to return back to Three Rivers Hideaway. Unfortunately, the Southern entrance of the NP doesn't let in RVs longer than 22 feet due to the winding and narrow street. Recommend take the gate at the Northern part of the park.

As we had to pass the RV park again after we have been declined to enter the park we asked the owner of the park if we could cancel our second night. It didn't make any sense to get back here. We were were happy that she accepted our offer. We appreciate that very much!

The park has some nice sites (like no 16 - 19) but very old facilities. There are a lot of permanent residents with quite a big mess. Very quite place in the middle of mother nature. We camped at Three Rivers Hideaway in a Motorhome.

Fiddler's Campground at Furnace Creek Resort, Death Valley National Park, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

RV park is part of a big resort - guests benefit from the infrastructure like swimming pool, restaurant, bar. Unfortunately, restrooms are quite far away and showers are integrated in the swimming pool area. Creates a certain dependency to the opening hours. All in all a very nice area with very friendly staff. Good rates! We camped at Fiddler's Campground at Furnace Creek Resort in a Motorhome.

Colorado River Oasis RV Park (formerly El Rio Waterfront RV Resort), Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

A very lovely RV park - small and finished in detail. Very large and clean restrooms/showers (in one room). Nice sites, including grill. Depending on the site a little bit noisy due to the highway. Very friendly stuff. One of the best parks we have seen on our trip through the Western part of the US. Grand Canyon Camper Village, Tusayan, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

The park is made without any sense of love and style and in a very poor condition (amenities, sites, campground). The grill has no cooking grate and was plenty of rubbish. The worst site we have ever seen! Keep away from it. The staff is very unfriendly, the WiFi doesn't work at all sites. It might be better to travel a little bit longer but to find another place to be. What a pity that they don't have to take care of their guests - they might arrive anyway. We camped at Grand Canyon Camper Village in a Motorhome.
