Capital City RV Park, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here on the way to Florida. Very nice and clean rv park. We had a pull thru site that was long enough for our 35' class A + toad. Hookups were convenient and worked as expected. Plenty of cable channels and wifi worked well. Seemed to have several long term campers, but everything was neat and orderly. Small playground for the kids and a nice fenced pet area. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We camped at Capital City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Peters Pond RV Resort, Sandwich, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 5 nights at this campground. Rate I posted was the non-discounted rate. I used PA for 2 nights and a fall special discount t of 30% off for the other 3 nights. FHUs worked as expected. Cable channel selection was good although some channels were a little fuzzy. Wifi worked good for general surfing. Site was gravel, level, and pretty good size. Lots of park models and seasonal campers. My only complaint is the showers on Spruce Ln need some work. No hooks, sheet rock was turning black, and the water ran out into the floor in the handicapped accessible shower making the floor very slick. Showers in other parts of the campground were better. Staff was nice and helpful. Would stay there again if in the area. We camped at Peters Pond RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Silver Springs Campground and Cottages, Saco, Maine

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Styled for 3 nights while visiting the area. As previously mentioned, they have very few overnight sites. FHUs worked as they should and were conveniently located. Cable channel selection was good. Wifi worked ok for the most part. Got a little slow every now and then. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I wouldn't consider it a destination campground, but definitely good if your in the area to see the sites. Restroom/bathhouse was nothing fancy, but clean. Water pressure in the showers could be better. $0.25 per 3 minutes for a shower. I would stay here again. We camped at Silver Springs Campground and Cottages in a Motorhome.

Narrows Too Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Trenton, Maine

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 6 nights. The rate posted is the full rate. It is a PA campground and we got the discount 50% discount for 4 nights. This is a nice campground conveniently located to Acadia National Park. Staff was very helpful and attentive. We had a FHU site and everything worked as expected. Good cable channel selection. Free wifi was adequate for basic surfing. Did get a little slow in the evening hours. Bathhouse and restrooms were clean. The roads In the CG are gravel and can be a little dusty. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Narrows Too Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Saco River Camping Area, North Conway, New Hampshire

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 3 nights. Very nice campground and extremely convenient to North Conway. We had FHUs and everything worked as expected. Only downside to hookups was that the sewer connection was higher than my hose even with supports under the hose. Cable tv channel selection was very good. Wifi worked good. We requested a gravel site as there was a chance of rain. Site was level, but the very fine gravel was easily tracked in. Bathhouses were clean, but the shower and toilet stalls are pretty small so if you are a big person they are kind of tight. I would definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Saco River Camping Area in a Motorhome.

Lone Pine Campsites, Colchester, Vermont

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 4 nights. This is a very nice, clean campground. All sites were grass. Sites were very large where I was. Electric and sewer was conveniently located. Water was setup a little different. It was located at every other site so you will need some extra hose. Staff was very nice and helpful. Cable was not available at each site. It is supposedly available at the "premium" sites, which may or may not have wifi. Wifi was available at the store. You can get 6 - 8 OTA channels. For the price, I would expect them to pick up trash at the sites, have free showers, and have dog poop bags available throughout the campground. Showers cost $0.50 for 7 minutes. The bathhouses are nothing fancy, but clean. They have the thinnest toilet paper I've ever seen. It is little on the noisy side as it is located beside the interstate. All in all, I would stay here again. We camped at Lone Pine Campsites in a Motorhome.

Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA, Grand Island, New York

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

This was my first stay at a KOA. Reservation process and check in was very easy. Your are escorted to your site. Power, water, sewer, and cable hookups were convenient and in good working order. Cable channel selection was good. Wifi worked good for general surfing, although it did get a little slow at times. Restroom/bathhouse closest to my site was very clean. The campground overall was very neat and clean. There are 2 pools and playground equipment for the kids. The campground is in 2 sections. The front section sites seemed a little nicer than the ones in the back section. Road noise from the interstate at my site was not bad. There are several longterm campers and some park model type sites towards the back and closer to the interstate. All of the sites close to mine where back in sites. They are all gravel and in much need of additional gravel. A good bit of leveling (front to back) was needed at my site. It had rained the night before we got there and there was lots of puddles around. I saw one site that had some minor ruts caused when the occupant left. All in all, this is a very nice campground and the people are very friendly and helpful. Other than needing some gravel hauled in to some sites everything was good. My only other negative was the price. I'm sure location has a lot to do with what I consider high prices. It is very convenient to Niagara Falls and to Buffalo. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Alum Creek State Park, Delaware, Ohio

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed at this park for a couple of nights while visiting the Columbus Zoo (great zoo by the way). This is a very nice park. We stayed in site B6 which had full hookups. The site was asphalt with a concrete patio and picnic table. It also had a fire ring. They have a limited number of full hookup sites. No cable or wifi, but we did get several OTA channels. The bathhouse and restrooms were clean and well kept, but were somewhat dated. The rate we paid ($20/night) reflects the 50% off Passport America rate. We didn't use any other facilities of the park. I would stay here again without hesitation when in the area. We camped at Alum Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

Sun-N-Fun RV Resort, Sarasota, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park with a mix of park models and RVs. We were in site K60 which had plenty of shade. Parked on crushed shell with a concrete patio. All hookups were convenient and worked well. Good selection of cable channels. Wifi was slow at times, but tolerable. Bathhouses were clean and cleaned daily. It is conveniently located off I-75. Siesta Key is approx 10 miles away. All kinds of stores and restaurants within a short drive. We camped at Sun-N-Fun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Compass RV Park (formerly Indian Forest Campground), St Augustine, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 3 nights in site 67. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was met at the gate upon arrival and given all pertinent information without leaving our coach and then led to our site. Campground is well laid out and was reasonably quiet at our site. Utilities were conveniently located and worked as expected. Cable channel selection was good and wifi worked great for our needs (general surfing, no downloads). Sites in our area were a little close to each other, but not terrible. Price was a little on the high side considering some of the "resort" prices in the area, but not bad. I liked this campground and will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Compass RV Park (formerly Indian Forest Campground) in a Motorhome.

I-75 RV Park, Tifton, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The manager provided great customer service. Per his request, I called him when we were about 10 minutes away. He met us at the entrance and led us directly to our site. Power, water, sewer, and cable connections were conveniently located and worked well. Cable channel selection was good. Wifi worked good with easy access and good speed. Campground is located right beside the off ramp, but noise wasn't an issue for us. This is a great overnight spot if you are headed north or south on I-75. Lots of restaurants close by. The only down side for me is the angle of the entrance. We use a 6" drop receiver and dragged coming into the park. By the looks of it we weren't the only ones to drag. Would definitely stay here again when passing through! We camped at I-75 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fall Creek Falls State Park, Spencer, Tennessee

Date of Stay: November, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Campground has several loops with many sites to pick from. Some have full hookups and some just have power and water. Some are paved and some are not. Some level, some not. Pretty much what I have seen in other Tennessee state park campgrounds, clean and well kept, but showing some age. The parks itself is beautiful! Many hiking trails and overlooks. There are at least 2 swinging bridges. They have a good golf course. The restaurant food is good, but nothing special. This was my second time to camp there this year. Will definitely be going back! We camped at Fall Creek Falls State Park in a Motorhome.

Pandion Ridge Luxury RV Resort, Orange Beach, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

As others have mentioned this is a relatively new resort opening in May 2016. I stayed 9 nights using their October special nightly rate. Everything is very neat and clean. Sites are large enough to accommodate rigs of every size. Pool and pool area is very nice and has a gas fire pit and gas grills. Wifi was great, cable not so good, but they are working on it. Everyone I dealt with were great and very helpful. The location is very convenient to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. I will definitely stay here again when in the area.
