Indian Creek Campground, Deer Lodge, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff, very nice restrooms and showers. Fairly simple park, but great signage, well maintained roads and sites, and good proximity to gas/groceries/restaurants. Highway noise is perceptible, but isn't a problem for us. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Walnut Grove RV Park, Merriam, Kansas

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The new management group seems to be "getting it." New little store is a nice feature, big annoying speed bumps have been removed, discount for military/veteran or Good Sam is very welcomed. Previous dog issue seems to have been resolved (likely need to judge that better when it is warmer). Staff is more accommodating and friendlier than before. Good to see them walking about. Would like to see permanent sites better managed, too much stuff outside, looks trailer-trashy. We camped at Walnut Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Lots of room and more shade trees would make it a 10. Pleasant staff and good maintenance. Sites have concrete slabs and picnic table. Kinda pricey, but competitive for the area. We camped at De Anza RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Camp Lutherwood, Long Valley Junction, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park, owned by the Lutheran Church, is located two miles east of the junction of US 89 and UT 14. Access is by gravel/dirt road. Park is not fancy, but it is in a beautiful setting with abundant deer and nice clean facilities. Operated by a lady and her husband who are friendly, helpful, and very pleasant. Rate is based on Passport America and a negotiated deal for 5 nights. About half was between Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, close to Cedar Breaks National Monument, so a great base camp. Might be a sloppy road in the rain. Would stay here again. We camped at Camp Lutherwood in a Motorhome.

Simply outstanding! Clean, well maintained, superb camp host, and then there's the scenery. We were in Loop C, right next to amphitheater and the apple orchard. If there was electricity, we'd just like to live here. We camped at Fruita Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, very friendly camp hosts. Good maintenance. I would have given this park a 10 if the assistant manager, had been welcoming, helpful and friendly at checkin. She was not. She needs to be as engaging as the other help, needs to set a better example, needs to understand the RVers coming in are the ones keeping the place open. We camped at Spanish Trail RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
