RVers beware! We opted for this park over less expensive ones based on the reviews - 2 in particular. One claimed the "new, BEAUTIFUL bath house was spa quality." The other review claimed the internet was the best they had experienced in their 4 weeks on the road. NEITHER of these claims were close to true. The bath house was adequate and clean except for a fair amount of hair on the floors, but they did have private stalls for shower/changing. New? Yeah... in the mid-1980's. Beautiful, not so much. Spa quality?! You need a new spa. I don't have anything particularly bad to say about the bath house, but don't choose this park based on that review. We've stayed at one in Heber City, Utah, that truly had spa-quality bathing rooms. That's what I thought we were getting again based on that review. The other thing is the internet. Tried to watch our favorite show on Netflix with our Roku unit. It buffered CONSTANTLY to the point we gave up. Oh, and this place is right next to the Amarillo airport. We stayed in one in Flagstaff that was right next to the highway, and we weren't bothered by the noise, but here it sounded at times as though the jets were landing on our roof. And, there is a train track close by as well. Oh, happy day! This park wouldn't be half bad for a one-night stay, but we paid about $10 more than other parks based on those glowing reviews. I know this site says they don't accept reviews from park owners or employees, but I think that's exactly what happened. We are staying another night in Amarillo, but we are changing to another park. We camped at Amarillo KOA in a Motorhome.
Lots of shopping and restaurants in town, but this park is not the closest to town. You have to drive at least 4 miles to get to them.
