Mesquite Oasis RV Park, Odessa, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is excellent for an overnight stay. The large pull-through gravel/dirt sites were generally level, clean, and way more than long enough for our 40 ft with tow with more than standard width. The 50 amp full-hookups were in working order and easy to access but were more spread apart than normal. We arrived after office closed but sites are easy to find. They had no trees so were satellite friendly. Campground is a little farther from the interstate (7 miles from I-20). We would definitely stay here again when traveling through. We camped at Mesquite Oasis RV Park in a Motorhome.

Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally, Anthony, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2019 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This is a large campground in the high desert - excellent for an overnight stay. The campground area is level and gravel. There are no trees but you are in the high desert. The spacious pull-through sites were level, clean, and long enough for our 40 ft with tow but also wide enough to park our tow beside our coach. The 50 amp full-hookups were in full working order and easy access. The host led us to our site. They had no trees so were satellite friendly. We are retired and travel around country year round. Most times, we just need a safe pull-thru site for the night with full hookups, satellite access for direct tv, and close to the interstate or highway. This campground met all these requirements and is right off I-10 West Exit 0. Staff are friendly. Would definitely stay here again. BTW, the park is right behind Camping World. We camped at Anthony/El Paso West KOA (formerly American RV & Marine Resort & Rally in a Motorhome.

This is a good campground - excellent for an overnight stay. The parking area is level and gravel. The sites were long enough for our 40 ft with tow. Quail Run RV Park, Quartzsite, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a large campground - excellent for an overnight stay. The parking area is gravel with a cement pad. The sites are a little narrow but were fine for our 40 ft with tow. The 50 amp full-hookups were in full working order. The host led us to our site. Hookups convenient for access. They had no trees so were satellite friendly. We are retired and travel around country year round. Most times, we just need a safe pull-thru site for the night with full hookups, satellite access for direct tv, and close to the interstate or highway. This campground met all these requirements and was very close to I-10 exit 17. One thing that we didn't like-they charge 3% for credit card use. We camped at Quail Run RV Park in a Motorhome.

Valencia Travel Village, Castaic, California

Date of Stay: February, 2019 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very clean, full hook-ups with 30/50 amp paved sites long enough for 40' MH with toad. Staff very helpful. There are assorted trees but we were also able to get a satellite-friendly site. We only wish they did not have so many speed bumps. Hard maneuvering over them. We would definitely stay there again. This was our third visit. We camped at Valencia Travel Village in a Motorhome.

Win-River Casino, Redding, California

Date of Stay: January, 2019 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

This small casino campground was excellent for an overnight stay. The parking area is all cement. The sites are a little narrow but were fine for our 40 ft with tow. The 50 amp full-hookups were in full working order. The security guard met us and led us to our site and then took us on in cart to sign in. There are security lights at night. Hookups convenient for access. They had no trees so were satellite friendly. We are retired and travel around country year round. Many times, we just need a safe pull-thru site for the night with full hookups, satellite access for direct tv, and close to the interstate or highway. This campground met all these requirements and was very close to I-5 exit 675. The Casino was fun for a break from traveling. We camped at Win-River Casino in a Motorhome.

Meadowlark RV Park, Creswell, Oregon

Date of Stay: January, 2019 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Park is very close to I5 and very easy to find. It is very clean and well laid out with wide paved streets with easy entrance/exit to the street. They offer both pull-thru and back-in sites. Our camp site was level, with dirt & gravel, and 50 amp full hookups. Water pressure was wasn't the best we have had and hookups easy to use. It was about 65 feet long, which was longer than our 40ft motorhome with toad and was plenty wide. We had no problem getting satellite service. We also had ok Verizon cell service. The staff was very helpful. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and will definitely stay here again. We camped at Meadowlark RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground was good for an overnight stay. The sites were clean, pull-thru sites were long enough for a 40 ft motorhome with connected tow vehicle. Hookups convenient for access. Concrete pads and can walk along river. They did have trees but were satellite friendly. We are retired and travel around country year round. Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: December, 2018 - $61.00
Overall Rating:

Park is easy access to I5 and very easy to find. It is very clean and well laid out with wide paved streets with easy entrance/exit to the street. They offer both pull-thru and back-in sites. Our camp site was level, with concrete pad, and 50 amp full hookups. Water pressure was good and hookups easy to use. It was a pull-through of sufficient length which was longer than our 40ft motorhome with toad. Unfortunately, they have a tree at the right side of each pad which perfectly blocks the DirecTV satellite for those of us with their antennae on the front third of the coach roof. So we had to disconnect and park coach on the back of the pad and car in the front. Lost all benefit of pull-through. Otherwise excellent Rv park. We camped at Hee Hee Illahee RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Southern Star RV Park, Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The park is rustic and west Texas desert. It is next to I10 and very easy to get to. Camp site was level with dirt & gravel. It had 30-50 amp service. Power hookup easy but sewer hookup was not. It was off by itself at the back of campsite. Our pull-through was just amply long enough for our 40ft motorhome towing vehicle. There were no trees around the park so were able to get satellite reception with no difficulty. Good Sprint and ATT service. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Southern Star RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park is a typical rustic Texas park. It is next to I10 and very easy to get to. Camp site was level with dirt & gravel and easy to hookup. It had 30-50 amp service. Parking was easy and our pull-through was amply long enough for our 40ft motorhome towing vehicle. There were some trees around the park but we were able to get satellite reception with no difficulty. Good Sprint and ATT service. They have both diesel and gas with reasonable prices. Santa Maria RV Park, Gautier, Mississippi

Date of Stay: November, 2018 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The park is a more rustic and smaller than the average large park. The nightly rate was a just $28.00! It is next to I10 and very easy to get to. Camp site was level with dirt & gravel but no picnc table or fire pit. It had 30-50 amp service. Our pull-through was just easily long enough for our 40ft motorhome towing vehicle. There were some trees around the park but were able to get satellite reception with no difficulty. Very quiet (you could hear the birds) and only about half the camp sites were filled so they let us pick the site we liked best. Good Sprint and ATT service. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. We camped at Santa Maria RV Park in a Motorhome.

Crystal Lake RV Park, Mims, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park is older and smaller. It is next to I95 and very easy to get to. Camp site was level with dirt & gravel. Grass area between sites. It had 30-50 amp service and picnic table. Our pull-through was just barely long enough for our 40ft motorhome towing vehicle. There were some small palm trees around the park so able to get satellite service. If you are pulling a vehicle, the hookups are too far back to be easy to connect to. Had to use over 35 feet of sewer hose. Good Sprint and ATT service. We camped at Crystal Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.
