The Blanco Settlement, Blanco, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Like others have said this is a small park with some cute cabins on the river. The front desk staff was wonderful, however, the park host was not as welcoming. We were only there for a couple of days, but he was rather rude just upon arrival. That would never keep us from staying at a park, though. As long as it's well kept and comfortable were good with that. So, With that being said here's the pro's and con's Pro's are it's on a nice clear river and it is a small park. Con would be the sites are so close together we walked outside our front door to a septic hose pretty close to our stairs. We camped at The Blanco Settlement in a Fifth Wheel.

McKinney Falls State Park, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This park was absolutely beautiful, the hiking and biking trails were great. We will definitely be back. We have a 42ft 5th wheel, so to be in a State Park with such a beautiful site and plenty of room to spare was great. TIP: BE AWARE OF THE HANGING TREES IF YOUR RIG IS ON THE TALLER SIDE. We camped at McKinney Falls State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to stay. There is plenty of room between each site and the ground are kept up very well. There is a nice creek that runs along the park that is crystal clear. We will be staying here again soon. They also have a dog park. We camped at Miller Creek RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
