Whispering Pines Campground, Hope Valley, Rhode Island

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $62.00
Overall Rating:

Have RV traveled for 3 years. This is one of the worst parks we have seen. If our stay had been longer than 3 nights we would have left without staying. No effort to keep park maintained and clean. No TV; satellite, cable, antenna. No WIFI. Sitting outside was unpleasant due to condition of the park. Difficult to back into. Too shallow to easily keep tow vehicle in site, park knew our length when they assigned site. Rows narrow, only 1 road in/out. Impossible to get by incoming/outgoing rigs. We camped at Whispering Pines Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Moab KOA, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Rude greeting upon arrival. They charge for early arrival even if site is open, offer no waiting lot or suggested parking downtown. Full charge yet no working laundry, inside park road bumpy. The highway was 6-12 inches higher than the gravel campground entrance. It was hidden from view when you first turned into the campground, making for a bumpy entrance. Bathroom not stocked, pool under construction, trash around park. Yet most expensive in Moab. Poor value. We camped at Moab KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown is a great pedestrian area; shops, galleries, town museum, restaurants, too bad this park is so far away with no shuttle offered. Nearby national parks are fantastic! Be sure to take whatever you need for a day trip, parks have no food service.

Goldcoaster RV Resort, Homestead, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Sewer connection on site higher then RV sewer hose. No effort to make us feel welcome. Surrounded by permanent mobile homes. Surrounding neighborhood unsafe. RV has had recent break ins. Best feature was location between two fantastic National Parks. We camped at Goldcoaster RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
