Picacho Peak RV Resort (55+ park), Picacho, Arizona

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground, good roads, good facilities, hiking, great views. My only complaint is the nearby interstate and heavily used railroad. We camped at Picacho Peak RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Brownwood Shady Oaks RV Park, Brownwood, Texas

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This is a gravel lot with hookups right on the side of the road. Most of the spaces are occupied by long termers and not the ones you would take home to meet the family - if you know what I mean. Wish I had known about this site before I visited this place up. We camped at Brownwood Shady Oaks RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Charles A. Lindbergh State Park, Little Falls, Minnesota

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

I was there for the fall color. Absolutely awesome. Very few campers, great trails to walk, quiet and peaceful. There are no annoying lights. You can hear distant trains sometimes at night but they're far enough away to be cool. A river runs behind the camp sites and bridges on the trails to cross it. Enough conveniences locally to make it fun and interesting. All in all it was a great visit We camped at Charles A. Lindbergh State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Get out and hike the trails. None are that difficult. If you can go in the fall when the color is on, even better. Oh, and stack a few rocks - it's a thang
