Coyote Keeth's RV Park, Clayton, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Basic well organized park. Gravel sites. All pull thru. We self checked in and chose site 6 but all sites look the same. Modern pedestals and good water pedestal. Sewer connection also, did not use. Seems like great stop over for a night but lack of tree shade might bother some. Will stay again. We camped at Coyote Keeth's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Goodfellow AFB Recreation Area (Military FamCamp), San Angelo, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Park for active and retired military only. Two areas.. trees for long term, parking lot for others. Easy access, pull thru though we don't unhook and was out over travel lane and nobody had a problem. Stayed 1 night and didn't unhook due to early departure next morning. Check in was easy, very nice and professional. Would not recommend extended stay due to lack of shade trees and sparten parking lot conditions. We will stay again because of cost and convenience. Great park for passing through. We camped at Goodfellow AFB Recreation Area (Military FamCamp) in a Travel Trailer.

Landa RV & Campgrounds, New Braunfels, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed over a weekend. RON 2 nights $40 total due to off season. Also a tubing business on Comal river. We were allowed to move sites since we couldn't level our trailer on site 513. Okay on 512. Both mere feet from the beautiful river. Lots of wildlife including deer, birds, fish, etc. Friendly office lady and helpful outside worker. Didn't encounter grumpy old man that others write about. Didn't use bathrooms or showers. Dump station at exit and at sites. Catholic church just blocks away. Tight security includes gate card to enter. Overall a pleasant visit. Tight sites and challenging road thru park I would not use in inclement weather. Too steep and tight corners. 30 degree incline on road getting out. Tough pull on dry pavement/gravel. Would stay again on good weather days. Park was probably designed before large RV s were common. They also allow tents. We camped at Landa RV & Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

McKinney Falls State Park, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very popular park due to close proximity to Austin. Close sites, plenty of trees, very helpful staff. We were allowed to change sites because we didn't fit in original site. This park was probably designed when RV's were smaller.

Family oriented park. We camped at McKinney Falls State Park in a Travel Trailer.
