Boardman Marina Park, Boardman, Oregon

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were diverted from our planned trip to La Grande due to flooding in the area and drove back to the Boardman park as we have stayed there one time before. The site (#14) was a pull through and a bit tight. I had to move my rig around to make sure the slide out didn't hit a tree and to make sure the other spaces were clear to enter/exit. Very friendly staff, park was spotless. The back in spaces on the river side were very nice, and will request one the next time we stay. Pendleton is about 45 miles east on I-84. Lots of services there. We camped at Boardman Marina Park in a Travel Trailer.

Winchester Bay RV Resort, Winchester Bay, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 6 nights. First 4 at space 123 which I picked for the large side "yard" and being om the water. We then had to move directly across the street due to a prior reservation. The park is super clean, very well maintained and staffed with friendly staff. Our second time there. The ocean views and the drive along the dunes on highway 101 are second to none. Bring camera(s) and binoculars! We camped at Winchester Bay RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are many Off Road Vehicle rental shops and the dunes are within riding distance. There is a small US Coast Guard base across the river and their 47' cutter would pass by a couple of times a day. A Search and Rescue helicopter is also stationed there and sometimes takes off and lands during SAR operations. A couple miles north is Freeport with the usual fuel/grocery/restaurants.
