Calloway RV and Campground, Hammond, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We arrived after dark, no one around no paperwork to fill out. We called and talked to a gal, friendly enough, she told us which sites to take. Roads and sites are paved but narrow. A cement pad for a picnic table but it did not have a table with gravel all around. At least for the overnight stays. Large ruts in the gravel area made it difficult to walk around the car. Dirty cement pad we had to sweep it ourselves. Left it nicer for the next camper ;). Went in to pay and found it was $45 a night but they do have a $5 Good Sam discount so we paid $40. Gal wasn't rude but not nice either. Lots of cats running around which I loved, others maybe not. The look of the place is old and run down, needs some tender care. I didn't use any of the facilities so I can't speak to that. This was the most expensive place we stayed and the worst. We camped at Calloway RV and Campground in a Travel Trailer.
