Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground, Romance, West Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Big rigs should go elsewhere. The campground is fine, but the road getting there is dangerous for big rigs. The road is narrow with no shoulder and low hanging branches. To make matters worse parts of the has edges that are crumbling off. We camped at Rippling Waters Church Of God Campground in a Motorhome.

Fort Chiswell RV Park, Max Meadows, Virginia

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

I generally like this park. It is very conveniently located and easy to get to from I-81. It would be nice if the pension in the office was friendlier. The utilities are well placed and worked well. The wifi is pretty good. The cable is unpleasantly grainy. I will stay again, but I wish the cable was better. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lancaster / New Holland KOA , New Holland, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2019 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is a little difficult for a big rig to get to because of the curvy narrow roads and buggies in the area. Happy to see that the gate was gone. The young woman at the front desk was delightful. One curvy place in the campground road was a little tight with scraping overhead branches and an obstacle to avoid. The sites are close for being out in the country. The utilities are well placed and worked well. The view is beautiful. My main complaint is that the man mowing the grass was trying to mow too close to my motorhome and pelted the side of my motorhome with gravel and wet grass. When I went out to clean the wet grass off the side of the motorhome I noticed a new chip in the paint. This sort of carelessness is inexcusable. We camped at Lancaster / New Holland KOA in a Motorhome.

Hammondsport / Bath KOA, Bath, New York

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $90.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is troublesome for a big rig. Getting there requires trying to avoid low hanging branches. The check-in personnel are pleasant. Our pull through was dirt which caused our motorhome to get filthy when it rained. The utilities were well placed and worked ok except the water pressure was a bit low. The wifi is worthless. There are limited cable channels, but they come in very well. The cost of this campground is very high for what you get. One would think that for this high cost you would get decent wifi. I won`t stay again. We camped at Hammondsport / Bath KOA in a Motorhome.

Evergreen Park Resort RV Resort, Dundee, Ohio

Date of Stay: August, 2019 - $56.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 5 days. Location is easy to find and it's easy to navigate a big rig in the park. The park is very clean and well manicured, but for being in the country the sites are too close together. Cable was very good. Utilities are uphill from your RV which is not ideal for emptying you tanks. I found the WiFi to be worthless. Weekends are very noisy with children running wild and dogs barking. I do not recommend Evergreen if you intend to have guests visit you. They charge $4 a day for simply having someone visit you in your RV. I won't stay again. We camped at Evergreen Park Resort RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lakeview RV Park, Bluff City, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Easy in and out off 11. Easy to navigate big rig on wide streets. Signage not great. Wide sites and streets make backin easy. Roads and sites gravel. Site was level. Not much shade. Utilities are well placed, but there were some potable water issues caused by work being done off the park property. We would stay again. We camped at Lakeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Brattleboro North KOA, Brattleboro, Vermont

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We will consider alternatives before staying here again. We stayed overnight based on the reviews on this site. All of these campers giving great reviews must not watch TV. The analog cable is awful and unpleasant to watch. The trees keep you from getting satillite, and we couldn't get any over the air channels. The campground is easy to find. The staff is pleasant. The campground is easy for a big rig to navigate. The site was long enough so that we could keep our toad attached. The utilities were at the rear of our site which is difficult. The water connection was with the other utilities, but had to be turned on on the other side of your RV. Odd. The Tengo wifi is just not worth the effort so we used our hotspot. As with most KOAs it is ovepriced. We camped at Brattleboro North KOA in a Motorhome.

Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins, Ridgeway, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Strange experience and we won't stay again. When we arrived, the office was supposed to be open but was closed. Before someone came there was a traffic jam at the entrance. We made a reservation and confirmed it, but they said that we didn't have one. I think that we were the only people in the original park that weren't permanent. I didn't like that. It was just a weird experience that I don't want to repeat. We camped at Little Cedar Creek Campgrounds and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

This is an update to my previous review. I really like this campground except for the rates being high and the mud when it rains. The reason I am updating my review is the low overhanging trees on the way to and from the campground. This is problematic for big rigs. I plan to stop staying here. We camped at Camp Lake Jasper RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cottonwoods RV Park, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is easy to find. The staff seemed distracted. It's easy to navigate a big rig on the roads. The roads are paved and the sites are gravel. The campground makes an attractive appearance. There was no traffic noise. The utilities are well placed and worked well. The wifi was slow. There is no cable and we received only a few OTA channels. We would stay overnight again. We camped at Cottonwoods RV Park in a Motorhome.

Victorian Acres Campground, Nebraska City, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is easy to find, and the staff is pleasant. The roads are easy for a big rig to navigate. The roads and sites are gravel and dirt. The campground has trees and makes a nice appearance. The sites are narrow and not completely level. This was the first time that our automatic leveling jacks weren't able to get us completely level. Our site was long enough to keep our toad attached had we wanted to do so. The utilities are well placed and worked well. The wifi was very good most of the time. There is no cable, but we were able to get a few ota channels. We didn't hear any traffic noise. We stayed two nights, and we would stay again but probably only overnight. We camped at Victorian Acres Campground in a Motorhome.

Holiday RV Park, North Platte, Nebraska

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is easy to find. The staff is pleasant. It's easy for a big rig to navigate. The site and roads are dirt and gravel. The utilities are well placed and worked well except there seems to be an intermittant water pressure problem. The campground is attractive. Wifi is poor. Cable is analog, but works well. Traffic noise from I-80 is very loud. We stayed overnight. We would stay again, but only for overnight. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverview RV Park & Campground, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is easy to find. Staff is pleasant. It is easy to navigate a big rig in the park. Our site was long enough for our big rig and toad. Utilities are well placed and worked well except the water connection is too close to the ground. The free wifi is not good. The cable didn't work, but they repaired it quickly. Whole park is dusty. We would stay again, but only after looking around first. We camped at Riverview RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Western Hills Campground, Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is easy to find. Staff was pleasant. Easy for big rigs to navigate. Site was long enough that big we could keep our toad attached. Utilities are well placed and worked well. Wifi is horrible. Cable is good. Campground is a huge gravel lot with hookups. No landscaping. There is traffic noise. It is windy there. Price is right. Good place for overnight stop. We would stay again, but only for overnight. We camped at Western Hills Campground in a Motorhome.

The Virginian Lodge RV Resort, Jackson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $106.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to find. Staff is pleasant. Campground is tight for big rigs. Utilities are well placed and worked well. Sites are narrow. Wifi is horrible. We couldn't access the log in page. All of the channels on the cable are grainy. We had to have neighbor move his truck to lo get our rig out when leaving. The price is outrageous for what you get, but if you want to stay in Jackson this is the only game in town. I would stay again if I wanted to stay in Jackson, but I wish there was an alternative. We camped at The Virginian Lodge RV Resort in a Motorhome.
