Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort, Canton, Texas

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We had booked 2 nights with Coast to Coast at the rate of $0/night. We decided to arrive a day earlier and since we hadn't booked it they charged us $30 for the one night. This is a very large resort with a ton of amenities. There are 2 pools, 5 ponds for fishing, paddle boats, Frisbee golf, lodges, game rooms, a spa, and a lodge that has live music on Friday nights. This area is known for the First Monday Trade Days which is actually held the Thurs-Sun before the 1st of the month. We were not here for that but it must be crazy here for that. They have RV sites that are very large (could have parked out 35' motorhome and a car in front and a car behind) pull through sites with a concrete pad in the middle with gravel on the ends. The hookups worked well but the cable was pretty grainy. The picnic table has seen better days and there was a fire pit. Wifi and cell reception was good. There were shade trees at the site. There are plenty of restaurants right in the area with a Walmart about 10 mins away. The signage for the resort was a bit hidden and could be better. We would definitely stay here again! We camped at Mill Creek Ranch RV & Cottage Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Stayed here overnight. Newer level concrete pads. Full hook ups and good Wifi and cell service. They had 3 storm shelters which was good to know. Right off I-35. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Roadrunner RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fishberry Campground, Valentine, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night last minute because of the condition of the park we had booked originally was unsatisfactory. They were able to accommodate us with full hook ups. They had free Wifi but our Verizon coverage was good enough for a hotspot. We had a pull through and shared water with the neighbor. This was not a destination park but met our overnight needs very well. We camped at Fishberry Campground in a Motorhome.

Spring Lake RV Resort, Halstead, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $5.00
Overall Rating:

We booked a two night stay through Coast to Coast mostly due to the good reviews it received. We were very pleased as we pulled in. A wonderful lake with a water feature, a lovely bridge walkway over and around the lake, pristine landscaping, a mini golf course and more. We checked in needing a full hook-up with 50 amp. The woman said she was glad that we were going to use that particular site because the neighbor had been "spreading out too far" and to give him a couple mins to clean up. We moved ahead to unhook the tow and as my wife was unhooking I watch 2 men scramble to move stuff from our site to the back of their trailer. Then the car that was in our site apparently did not work and they were attempting to push it behind the trailer as well. Most of the other sites (all were full with full-time residents) had quite the overflow of junk around their sites. It was very off putting. We went back to the office and had to settle for a site that had no sewer. We get there and although most the sites were vacant, the neighbor had parked their vehicle in our assigned site. We called and told the office we were just taking a vacant site and told them which one. This was around 4pm and check out is 12pm. After we settled in the neighbor had packed up and left (late check out?) This was a very unpleasant experience. So many sites have very cluttered areas and old units. I am a fulltimer and understand but treat your site like a home and not a junk yard! I blame the resort for not following up or enforcing rules and regulations or standards. We had reservations and knew we were coming and we should have had a better experience. I am glad others had a better experience and hope it improves. We left a day early and moved on not to return again! We camped at Spring Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Kearney RV Park and Campground, Kearney, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

There are two separate parks-one for extended stay and one for shorter stays which is nice. We were only staying for an overnight and booked online. We were nicely surprised how new and clean this park was. The even put us in a convenient pull through with a view of the beach on the lake so we didn't have to unhook the tow. You were allowed to swim at your own risk and fish catch and release in the lake. Pricey for what you get but clean and no long term clutter. We would stay here again! We camped at Kearney RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Rushmore Shadows RV Resort, Rapid City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed as a Coast to Coast member. The site that was given to us we were told was a back in but the water and sewer were on the wrong side and would have required 3 hoses. So we pulled in because the 50 amp on the other side was easier to hook up with a longer hose. We came on a Saturday and it was plenty busy with multi-family sharing one site so it was very cramped. The site we had 121 had plenty of space and next to cabins and tent areas. We camped at Rushmore Shadows RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Wacky West Travel Park, Valentine, Nebraska

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We had booked two nights through our Coast to Coast and it was $15 per night plus fees for 50 amp. We read the previous reviews and knew it wasn't going to be park like or resort like but had expected better. The place is in horrible condition. We drove through and didn't even stop. We were embarrassed at the condition of the units that were parked there, the grounds, and junk piled up in front. We were willing to forgo the fee for cancelation to just leave. Not sure how Coast to Coast can put their name on this park. We camped at Wacky West Travel Park in a Motorhome.

7th Ranch RV Camp, Garryowen, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We were greeted outside by the husband of the husband and wife couple that own this camp. He instructed us where to park and my wife went in to check in with his wife at the office. Check in was easy and she gave my wife ice cream to share with her "husband" (please don't assume and use another term like companion, partner, travel buddy, etc) anyhow the gesture was very nice. We were escorted to a spot high on the hill which was tiered for wonderful views of the area. The sites were landscaped with what I believe to be black eyed susans which attracted lovely birds and butterflys. We only stayed one night on our way to South Dakota but would have stayed longer if we had the time. We would stay again. We camped at 7th Ranch RV Camp in a Motorhome.

Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, Livingston, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $58.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 2 nights here for access to Yellowstone. The north entrance was about 35 miles south of this location. This was a wonderful park with spectacular views right on the Yellowstone River. We got a site right across from the river, but could not really see it unless you left your RV the way they had the sites laid out. I know we blocked our neighbors view pulling in and vice versa. They site layout is a little odd and confusing so they do have escorts. Nice dog area on the river with benches. Site was pricey but you are paying for the scenery and access/proximity to Yellowstone. We would stay again. We camped at Yellowstone's Edge RV Park in a Motorhome.

Indian Creek Campground, Deer Lodge, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed one night using our Coast to Coast. $10 was for cable and resort fee. Easy pull through so we didn't have to unhook the tow. Had all the necessary hookups. It is located behind a truck stop and they give you coupons for gas and Subway. Nice and clean for the most part. Was a little sketchy with a Confederate flag on one RV. Would stay again if only for one night. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Easton Resort, Easton, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

This was an overnight stay. We are members of Coast to Coast so it only cost us a resort fee of $3. It is an old park with a lot of trees. Depending on how you are camping may matter if this would suit you. We are in a 35ft. motorhome with tow. The site was 30 amp with just electric and water. It does have a pool and hot tub which we did not use or look at but it was used a lot. The sites are very close but thankfully when we were there there were plenty of empty sites on each side. And they don't park everyone on top of each other. Nicely spread out. We camped at Lake Easton Resort in a Motorhome.

Cedar Glen RV, Poulsbo, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed 4 nights here. Agreed with other reviews it is quite noisy from the traffic on 305 but that was the only negative remark I have. The camp hosts were very friendly and willing to help with anything. The camp is neat and landscaped nicely. Large gravel pads with grassy areas with plenty of room for your tow. Did not use their Wifi but it was available and was able to have good cell phone service. OTA got about 40 channels but a little choppy. Water pressure was wonderful. Ferry to Seattle was 6 miles down the road and is $8.20 round trip which was super convenient. We would definitely stay again. We camped at Cedar Glen RV in a Motorhome.

Premier RV Resort of Lincoln City Oregon, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Only spent one night here because it was booked for the holiday week. We would have loved to stay longer. Not too friendly in the office but the manager (Mr. Hilt) who greeted us and escorted us to our spot made up for it. He was very friendly and willing to help us with parking. He even came by later to make sure things were good. The grounds were very nice and well kept. The spaces were a little close but level. They had activities and clubhouse use. Some of the upper sites have an ocean view. There was road noise from 101 in the lower area. We definitely would stay here again! Logan Road RV Park, Lincoln City, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed one night. It was a holiday week so they were completely booked. The spaces were very, very tight. There probably wasn't even a foot between rigs. Had to even question whether we could put the slides out. Barely fit the toad in as well. It was concrete and not level. If it weren't for the fact it was a holiday week and everybody else was booked I don't think we would have stayed. Would not go back. We camped at Logan Road RV Park in a Motorhome.
