Grand Canyon Railway RV Park, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for an overnight in a Class A Motorhome. It is very big rig friendly. Not much to speak of in "ambiance" but very friendly and access to the small historic town of Williams. All hook ups worked properly. They have access to ride the train to the Grand Canyon but only once a day early in the morning so we didn't use it. Would stay here again! We camped at Grand Canyon Railway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort, Plymouth, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here on a recommendation from friends who used to RV. We booked it for 4 days. Regretted our choice after the first day. The ground was very moist from recent rains and the site was very uneven and not clean. For the cost of it sure wasn't worth it. Ducks and duck poop everywhere! Very tight spaces. Would not return unless things have changed. We camped at Far Horizons 49er Village RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Vista Del Sol RV Resort, Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a 55+ RV/community. It is gated and secure. The grounds are immaculate with very level concrete pads and gravel landscape. The sites are tiered so you would be pressed hard not to have a decent view no matter where you were put. They escort you to your site and assist in anything that you need. We camped at Vista Del Sol RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Orange Grove RV Park, Bakersfield, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for just an overnight but would come back and stay longer. Clean, level, full amenities all set amongst orange trees. Unfortunately we got there past peak and all fruit had been taken but still very nice ambience. You do have a train that runs and it can be a little noisy. Pull throughs were large enough for our 35' plus tow. Highly recommend! We camped at Orange Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lemon Cove Village RV Park, Lemon Cove, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here as a stop over visit in our Class A motorhome with a toad. It is a small park and encourages tiny home stays. The park was clean. The Wifi was only available at the clubhouse which closed at 6 because no one was able to man it. There seemed to be quite a few long stays. It was quiet and all in all a good stay for a one night. We camped at Lemon Cove Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails, Nicolaus, California

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We received a pass to this park (Thousand Trails) when we purchased our new motorhome. We booked online. We checked in and were a little apprehensive about the condition of the RV's in the park and the "clutter" in and around the homes but gave it a chance. We drove around the lake which was nice enough but did not feel comfortable staying in any part of the park and left. We will not go back. We camped at Lake Minden RV Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.

Canyon Creek Resort, Winters, California

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

It was a sales pitch free stay to sit through a presentation. The creek was very lively due to recent rains. The ambiance was wonderful. The café actually had the best pizza I have ever had in California! The site was maintained well and we got to pick which site. You can be next to the creek without sewer (they do have a honey pot) or up higher with sewer. There is NO cell service here and the WIFI you have to pay for. I would stay again! We camped at Canyon Creek Resort in a Motorhome.
