Spring Lake RV Resort, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent campground. Out first time here. Very quiet and it's Labor Day weekend. Plenty of space at each site. Hard packed gravel but each site has a concrete pad. Our site had a very nice metal table and two chairs, and a 2 person swing to enjoy the lake view. The campground owners were extremely nice and helpful. Guided us to our site and helped us park. We take a lot of weekend trips to get away and this will be our new go to place. We camped at Spring Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Cumberland Mountain State Park, Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground with great walking trails. Very friendly staff. The campsites were very well maintained and the roads to the campground from I40 were easy to navigate. Our site was paved with full hookup. Alls sites are either paved or packed gravel and most are surrounded by trees and forest. Very nice restaurant overlooking the lake offering a buffet or a limited menu within walking distance of the campground. This is a campground we will revisit many times. We camped at Cumberland Mountain State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walk the trails. Beautiful streams and woods. Also take the trail down below the rock damn. It does get steep but is very accessible for the first part of the trail and you can get some spectacular pictures of this historic damn.

Soaring Eagle Campground & RV Park, Lenoir City, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

Purchased a MotorHome and we went to this campground for our first shakedown as it was only about 10 miles from our house. Very friendly staff. Bathrooms, showers and laundry room very clean. Sites are a little close but manageable. Just off the interstate so some road noise. Dog friendly with nice area to walk and relax. Would recommend this facility. We camped at Soaring Eagle Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Boat ramp to lake onsite. Very nice stream meandering through trees and open grassy area. Plenty of toys to rent for use on the lake.
