River Rest Resort, Washington, California

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful site right on the river. Many large groups but we got lucky. We were in site 25 right on the river, by far the best site there. In shade with gorgeous view and easy river access. Down side lots of families large groups and a parade of float devices kids and people perched on the edge with chairs blocking the easy access. People don't clean up after themselves so we did. Beer cans, garbage, towels, shirts and dead float tubes. Overall the river makes up for it. Cold clear and beautiful. Crowds come and go. Campground super clean hard to get around all cars and people but everyone is nice. Hosts work constantly town is close store closed Mon-Tue but campground has small store with stuff to get by. Will come again. Book ahead fills up FAST. People booking 1-2 yrs in advance in LARGE groups! Cancellations may be your only hope. We camped at River Rest Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Town is walking distance. Downside: Store closed Mon-Tue. Hotel has a funky bar with a great deck and bloody Marys. There is a restaurant but that was closed Mon-Wed. Didn't venture far from campground but there was a lot to do around on ATV's or bikes. We stayed close to the river and campground.

Wine Country RV Resort, Paso Robles, California

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for 5 nights absolutely no complaints! Clean well managed beautiful grounds. Stayed in site 62 backed up to vineyards some road noise from Hwy 46 at times not bad. If you don't want truck noise stay below the upper hill is nice but RIGHT against freeway! Adult hottub and pool are lovely! Wine and beer garden open thurs-sun very lovely! Would definitely stay here again. Only complaint was the wind and long drive from NorCal!! Great staff! We camped at Wine Country RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
