Lanier's Family Campground, Surf City, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park is more for the long term stays. 90% is permanent campers and very trashy. We got to our spot 185 and there was dog poop everywhere. There is a fire ring that we couldn't use because it was too close to the camper next to us. The play ground is right up front in between two roads with nothing to keep the kids from running in front of a car. Two kids ran out in the road after a rabbit, if someone was coming they would have gotten hit. Lots of kids driving around in golf cart with out any adults around. They do have a pool and pool tables but we didn't want to go. All we wanted to do was leave. So we spent the days running around town and coming back to camp and go to bed. Check out on Sunday and they didn't even ask how our stay was, I'm pretty sure they know. Stay away from this place, it's gross. The thing that got me the most is the dog crap. Lot of dogs there. We camped at Lanier's Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
