Circle B RV Park, Ruidoso, New Mexico

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very convenient location, helpful friendly staff, packed gravel level pad. Easy in and out. We were there for a week no problems, we had a pull through spot to park our tow as well. We would definitely stay again. Paved roads nice spaces. They have a section for permanent tenants and a completely different section for travelers. We camped at Circle B RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit to Cloudcroft and over to the White Sands National Park. We had a very good hamburger at the Rockin BZ Burgers in Alamagordo. We did some wine tasting and were very PLESANTLY surprised at their offerings for our taste. I hope you're better at picking winners at the track than we were.

Route 66 RV Park, Elk City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed over night in a 40' motor home. Pretty easy in and out. We were there for an overnight. Nothing fancy but delivered on the essentials. No cable/satellite tv and WiFi was ok. Very friendly and helpful management. We would stay here again for an overnight. Mostly permanent tenants. Convenient to restaurants and other services. We camped at Route 66 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Memphis KOA , Marion, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Easy access in and out. Sites are a little narrow but still comfortable and fairly easy to navigate. People were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant on the premises and will deliver food to your camp site if you arrive and order early enough. We didn't use their service but would come in handy if you didn't want to fix something when you arrive. We stayed 2 over nights 1 going and 1 coming. We would stay here again if we had the opportunity. We booked online using our KOA membership for discount. Also, coming back received an additional $10 off using a coupon from their info brochure which was pointed out by the staff! They were very helpful and would stay here again in the future. We camped at Memphis KOA in a Motorhome.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Recently stayed at Bear Creek during our visit to the Biltmore. If you have a "big rig" beware of the true access. The pull through sites are VERY narrow and extremely difficult to get into. Trying to navigate the limited space, picnic table and the other gotchas can lead to tearing up a cargo bay door. We were in a 40' motor home and didn't fare so well trying to navigate all of the obstacles and tore up a cargo bay door trying to navigate on to the pad. I recommend someone get out and help direct your approach. The pull through pads are right on a busy road with lots of traffic especially morning and evening. Also, lots of traffic noise (semi trucks) from the nearby interstate. We didn't use the bath or laundry facilities but some friends traveling with us were under impressed. Plumber must have forgotten first rule of plumbing. Our sewer connection was 12 to 14" above the ground. No way to empty waste tanks. Probably a nice park if you are in something much smaller and navigable. We would not stay here again at any price. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort, Cotter, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

WE enjoyed our stay at Denton Ferry! Pads were packed gravel very level. Owner was very helpful and accommodating! We just put our jacks down for stability. The sites were big and spacious compared to most parks we visit. We enjoyed a nice shade tree on our site as well. No tv unless you bring your satellite. There's no cable or air signal to be found. Park was very quiet and right on the river, very scenic. We camped in a motor home pretty easy to get in and out. We would stay there again. Tips for other Campers:

River was up during our stay and fishing was challenging...at least for us. Watched a young lady catch her limit and her husband's in about and hour. We never got a bite! I'm trying to locate her for my new fishing partner.

The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort, Fredericksburg, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Looked up this park on the internet and decided to make a reservation. After arriving I remembered the words from another RVing person review, never trust or believe the internet websites or pics of the park. First thing while checking in the wife took the dogs out and was stung several times by ants. Their super duper digital tv didn't work for us and there are no trees. Went to the office no one around only a number to call. We found a space available at the Fredricksburg RV Park which was great and moved the next day. We camped at The Vineyard at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort in a Motorhome.
