Jim & Mary's RV Park, Missoula, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Enjoyed an easy pull-thru with good interior roads. Very busy place but the office had a handle on it and check-in was quick and efficient. Easy drive with tow vehicle into Missoula to resupply although traffic in town was very heavy. Beautiful grounds at Jim & Mary's with lots of detail to color. Would stay again when in the area. We camped at Jim & Mary's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Trout Creek Motel and RV Park, Trout Creek, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2019 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to find, older and quaint. Lots of foliage, friendly owner. The space I was assigned was easy to pull into and long enough. The directions given to leave wouldn't have worked (too long 60') but I was able to drive around through the park and exit where needed. My Verizon Jetpack did not work the one night I stayed. Pay showers & laundry. I did not explore, lots of folks had small boats and everyone seemed very happy and there for a longer stay. We camped at Trout Creek Motel and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Oregon Trail RV Park, Irrigon, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Good stopping point along Hwy. 730. Front row of pull through's has view of the river. Across the street are irrigated sports fields. Used their 3 night special for $95. All hook-ups worked as they should, parking level on asphalt. Laundry room/showers are open 24/7 in the office building with a TV and table/chairs. Quiet and clean. We camped at Oregon Trail RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ana Reservoir RV Park, Summer Lake, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Payment is cash or check, you get an envelope out of a box, fill it out with information/payment, then poke it thru a slot in the door of the office. I called first and was told, yes they had room for my RV/truck, and to take space XX. GPS wanted to take me on a road that would have got me there...eventually. I opted to go by directions given on their website and all was well. At 60' long I had to adjust my entry into the space but it worked out OK. Water/Power worked as they should and the laundry was clean and reasonable. We camped at Ana Reservoir RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Likely Place RV & Golf Resort, Likely, California

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nicely arranged RV park with easy in/out pull thru spaces and back ins. Club house/office also has a restaurant breakfast/lunch. Off the beaten path, easy to find - BIG sign in Likely. No traffic noise, very private, beautiful country. Good parking for check-in, good map to sites. Only stayed one night, will come back for a longer visit next time. We camped at Likely Place RV & Golf Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

At check-in you get a great brochure with lots of interesting places to visit. Many are close by, others are more of a day trip. Quiet, clean, a very comfortable RV park. Small store in Likely has a good selection but major grocery shopping would be in Alturas, 30 minutes away.

Tubby's RV Park and Car Wash, Dawson Creek, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Been pouring the last few hours of my drive and Tubby's was the first RV park I saw. I had no reservation, but they had a spot for me. I stayed 3 nights to get past the storms...yes, it did get muddy, but it was muddy everywhere in town! Power/water worked as they should. Office personnel were friendly and helpful. Certainly not a destination resort, but wonderful as a port in a storm. We camped at Tubby's RV Park and Car Wash in a Travel Trailer.

Big Fish Bay Campground, Slave Lake, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very large campground with lots of seasonal/worker folks. Good signs but you drive in a ways after the entrance off the paved road to find the office. Wide roads and glad to have a map to site! Water/electric worked as they should. Had an easy in/out pull through. Office personnel were friendly/helpful. Site was long enough to park an extra vehicle (no charge). They do have 'beach front' RV sites on Lesser Slave Lake, a large field/playground. Airport next door but not very busy and fun to watch. Would stay again if in the area. We camped at Big Fish Bay Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Aspen Crossing Campground, Mossleigh, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

If you are 'into' trains, this would be a great destination. They have packages for dinner trains and camping, plus various other offerings. I was happy to get a site and also glad to have someone show me to the location. The vegetation is heavy and great for privacy but makes it like a jungle for a first time visitor. The office is located in the middle of the park so you'll get a taste of the layout/foliage right away. Their wifi only works in the office area. Hook-ups worked as they should and were in the proper position. Unique park although a bit expensive. We camped at Aspen Crossing Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Blueberry Hill RV Park, Athabasca, Alberta

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park was a base while spending time/touring in Northern Alberta. Lovely owners, always friendly and helpful. Wifi wasn't strong enough to reach the site, but taking a laptop to the office porch worked. Pull thru was easy in/easy out, good interior roads. Shares the driveway with the golf course next door. Sleeping Wolf, Browning, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised by the friendly, efficient office lady. Yes, the dirt road in isn't in the best shape, but go slow and it's certainly doable. Easy to find, good signs. Glad I made a reservation as they ended up full and even found spaces that I don't think were spaces for a couple folks. Electric worked as it should, didn't use the water and they don't have sewer hook-ups. I believe there is a dump station. If I'm ever in the area again will certainly stay here. We camped at Sleeping Wolf in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Fueling stations are everywhere! Right when you go into Browning you'll find one with vehicles stacked up waiting....if you keep going, there are at least 2 more with better access, same price and no waiting. Then when I headed up 464 towards Babb, there's another station not far out of town.

McGregor Lakes RV, Marion, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Easy to find right on Hwy. 2, good location for visiting Kalispell (only 30 miles) and lots of lakes in the area. Lodge with restaurant across the 2 lane Hwy. , heard great things but never went. Pull thru and back in sites. NO cell service or Internet with your Verizon/ATT devices, but they offer free WiFi for the park and it worked great. Laundry is on the honor system, you pay the hosts. Machines worked as they should, as did power/water/sewer. Mosquitoes were relentless, be sure to bring your bug spray! Neat walking trail around the park but for me unusable because of the bugs. Very clean and neat, I'd return if in the area. We camped at McGregor Lakes RV in a Travel Trailer.

Chewelah Casino RV Park, Chewelah, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is an all pull-thru, bare bones RV park right next to the Chewelah Casino off Hwy. 395. I've used it 3 times for a night or two and can't complain about anything. The water/electric are well placed and work as they should. NO sewer. Check in with security inside the casino and they'll sign you in - you pay at the cage, then return to security and they unlock the utilities for you and give you the 'rules'. Restaurant/restrooms at the casino, plus the usual games. Easy in/out. I just fit without unhooking at 60'. There is only one line of RV spaces, 10 all angled for easy pull in. We camped at Chewelah Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The town of Chewelah is just up Hwy. 395. Full services - Post Office, Hospital, Safeway, Ace Hardware, Drug store and a few restaurants. Not far from the RV park (actually adjoining) is a Spoko fueling station with diesel. Other fueling options from small locals to a bigger (easier access) station at the north end of town, also has diesel. The city park has a long, curb side area for short term parking (on the right side heading north) with a Subway shop across the street.

Coyote Run RV Park, Connell, Washington

Approx. 30 miles north of Pasco and worth the drive. Easy in/out, no trees or obstructions. Clean, neat and welcoming. Stayed 2 nights while a storm passed thru and was very comfortable. Used electric/water and they both worked properly and were well placed. Would stop again when in the area. We camped at Coyote Run RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Arrowhead Campground & RV Park, Pasco, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Driving North on 395 out of Pasco, WA, tired and ready to quit for the day. Spied the sign for a truck stop that included an RV wash AND an RV Park. Took the off ramp, followed the sign. The other reviewers are correct in that it's not kept up BUT was easy in/out, nice lady and her grandson who own the place and got me off the road. Fueling in the morning will be easy with a couple choices. Only hooked up to electric so I could use the A/C and will use from the on board water tank. Not a vacation spot, OK for over night.
