Coldbrook Resort & Campground, Barre, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place on pretty grounds. I love that they are very dog friendly and my kids have lots of other kids to play with. We were located in the quiet Juniper Circle with a good amount of seasonal campers. They are very friendly and gave us an invite to join them around their campfire. Our hookups were a little far from the ideal location and we missed our water hose by about 5'. They did not have any left in the store and the girl asked if anyone told me about it when booking. When I told her I didn't she never questioned and said they had an extra one we could borrow. We are in an RV so I can't vouch for the bath house but we would definitely come back. The only thing I would add for that "10" overall is something like a bounce pillow or something more than just the playground for the kids. We camped at Coldbrook Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Limehurst Lake Campground, Williamstown, Vermont

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Loved this place. You can tell that the new owners have put a lot of love and care into it over the past 5 years or so. It takes a lot to fix things up when it's just you and your family putting the hard work in. For me, it was just the right size. You don't have to walk forever to get where you want to be, but you are not completely stacked one on top of the other either. There is a trailer park you have to drive through to get to it, but that is simply out of their control. My kids love playing on the beach and I loved the quiet. I would definitely come back!! Friendly owners with great service. We camped at Limehurst Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Boston Minuteman Campground, Littleton, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $59.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful grounds. Super friendly service with a site escort to set us up for the best angle to back in. Site was a little tight, but we did make a last minute booking and got what we got. WiFi was in and out, but we had full cell signal and cable hookup. Not a lot of kids so my boys got a little bored. Great camp to go back to someday when it's just my husband and I. You feel like you are in the woods, but everything you could ever need is right down the road. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Maybe skip if you have crazy kids that like to run around with other kids. Beautiful, quiet place for adults. Go get some Kimballs Ice Cream if you want a treat.

Woodland Hills Campground, Austerlitz, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed 2 nights. Beautiful grounds. We got a back-in, but pretty sure they have some pull-throughs. Site was a little tight but we managed to fit OK. There is no cell service, but I think they mentioned that in their ad. I would imagine they would let you use a phone in the office if needed. WiFi was temperamental. Had to pay an extra fee if we wanted to run our AC. There was an interesting variety of people and children. I want to note that I have 2 special needs kids so I'm not picking on that, but at least they know to stay out of other people's campers. Child (not ours, no clue who he belonged to) walked right in the back door and opened the bathroom door that was currently occupied by one of my family members. Will not be going back. We camped at Woodland Hills Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Keep your doors locked. Gas station about 5 min drive away from park and truck stop just on the other side of Rt. 90. Went there for cell service and a few extras.

Lamb City Campground, Phillipston, Massachusetts

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This was our maiden voyage with a travel trailer that we just got brand new. Everything should have gone fine. We hook up on a Friday night with kids and dogs in tow, and no electricity (us, not the site). After my husband went round and round checking things and I made every phone call I could think to make we almost thought about going home. The gentleman at the desk up front came down when he heard we were having trouble. He went through it all again with my husband and about 20 min later we had power!!! Turned out there was faulty wiring inside the trailer. Amazingly nice people here. We camped at Lamb City Campground in a Travel Trailer.
