Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed for 3 nights almost right on the beach. No services but really enjoyed the location and the idea of really camping. Grandkids love this place as there are so many places to explore, beach, rocks, bush trails and lots of other kids. This is one of our favourite spots! We camped at Cape Disappointment State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Lewis and Clark Center is excellent. Astoria is very interesting especially the marine museum and public dock where dozens of noisy sea lions are resting and fighting! Long beach and area is cool. I could stay here for 2 weeks and still not see everything in this area!

Cedar Springs Ranch (formerly Victoria West KOA), Malahat, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Just stayed here for 5 nights in a 30 ft Motorhome with towed. The Good: huge trees that are beautiful. So big we likely only saw the sun at our spot about 1 hour per day. It has a pool and with 2 grandchildren along this time this feature overcame the bad side. We could not find any other campground around Victoria that had a pool. The Bad. Road in is poorly marked and very very narrow and steep. This looks to be in progress of being fixed but for 2017 beware. The whole place was likely designed and built in the 1970's and is now over the hill and picking up speed. The absolute bare minimum is done to operate. No fires allowed as it is too overgrown. No recent paint, trimming of property or general normal maintenance and it shows. Sites are small and I personally would not take anything bigger than my 30 ft Class A in although I did see one bigger. Not a place for big rigs. Lots of kids and a pool made it ok for us this time but I would not go back. We camped at Cedar Springs Ranch (formerly Victoria West KOA) in a Motorhome.

Wasagaming Campground (Parks Canada), Riding Mountain National Park, Manitoba

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

This a great campground and great little town. Lots to do for kids, beach, trails, kids activities and more. I would rate it a hidden gem. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars was some sites are not at all level but very workable. Lots of space between sites, good services, easy res the cation and check in. Given I s popularity make a reservation. Town is pretty, well kept and lak is crystal clear. We would come again! We camped at Wasagaming Campground (Parks Canada) in a Motorhome.

Munising Tourist Park Campground, Munising, Michigan

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Probably the Campground with the best view ever! We pulled our Motorhome straight into the site facing the lake and parked the car behind. Connections on the wrong side but still reached with no problem. We also had best wifi yet. Lady checking us in was very helpful and can't say enough about the location! Highly recommend this Campground! We camped at Munising Tourist Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Dressel's Jordan Valley Campground, Jordan, Ontario

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 4 nights in early May. Area had significant rain just prior so I was concerned if it would be soft but all was fine. Real big rigs might find it tight, our 30 was fine. Mostly seasonal spots but a very nice well kept park. Good hook ups, no cable or TV. They do have rules, but it make it great unless you are noisy and like that. Very quiet right by the river and in the heart of Wine country. If we are back here we would stay here again. We camped at Dressel's Jordan Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Check out the village of Jordon just up the hill, very quaint and cool. Quaint villages, shops, wineries and farms all in an area with a great climate. So many tours to take and so much Canadian history in this area it's amazing.

Wesley Clover Parks Campground (formerly Ottawa Municipal Camp), Ottawa, Ontario

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here the first day it opened 2017 for a week while we explored Ottawa area. Location is excellent, as there is quick access to everything. Even took in a concert and Senators game at Canadian Tire Center which is minutes away. Although handy it is still a park, with big trees and good spacing. Facilities are old, but ok. Wifi only worked at office and sites have no sewer. Large Big Rigs may be a challenge to park. We have a 30 ft Class A which was ok. Will definitely stay here again.

Because of great location suggest reserving well ahead. July 1 of 2017 is already booked up! We camped at Wesley Clover Parks Campground (formerly Ottawa Municipal Camp) in a Motorhome.
