Rancho Sedona RV Park, Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $53.00
Overall Rating:

Rancho Sedona RV Park is an absolutely beautiful Park with nicely spaced sites surrounded by trees, green spaces and flowers. Every effort is made to assure guest comfort and to provide a peaceful, relaxing experience at the Park. The Dog Park is the nicest one I've ever seen at any RV Park, lushly carpeted in green grass with a nice sturdy fence and locking gate. My dog loved chasing his ball in the dog park and didn't understand why we couldn't just spend our entire stay in there. The owners provide extensive information on area hikes and attractions. Rancho Sedona is a lovely RV Park in a beautiful area, we will be returning. Highly recommended! We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

We were very disappointed in the OK RV Park. We made our reservations months in advance and arrived to discover an ATV Rally Event was going on at the Arena next door. The Park (and the Arena next door) were loaded with noisy ATVs and accompanying dust. The site we were assigned was right next to the Arena entrance and every ATV had to go past the front and side of our Trailer to attend the Rally Event. The Park was jammed, with every available inch of space occupied and we had trouble backing into the site because of vehicles parked so close to our site. I am sure the ATVers had fun however it would have been nice if management had advised us of the impending ATV Event when we inquired about reservations at which point we would have chosen a different RV Park to avoid the noise and congestion. Our site was littered with trash from a previous occupant and I noticed piles of dog manure around the park as I walked my dog. We plan another trip to Moab in the future but we will not be returning to OK RV Park. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Travel Trailer.

Uncompahgre River RV Park (55+ park), Olathe, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Uncompahgre RV Park is just perfect! The owners are very friendly and helpful, with suggestions for things to see and do while in the area. Our site was lovely, spacious and a comfortable distance from the neighbors. There are nice green areas and flowers blooming everywhere. The bathrooms and showers appeared new and were spotless. The property is large with a river running through it and walking along the river each morning was so much fun for my dog and I. There are so many beautiful things to see in the surrounding area, we plan to return and continue our explorations. Highly recommended. We camped at Uncompahgre River RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We ate at the Horse Fly in Montrose and had great burgers. We spent a day hiking at Ridgeway State Park, another day hiking in Dominguez Canyon and another day exploring the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The area is full of natural wonders and the surrounding towns are fun to explore as well. A great place to visit and stay awhile!

Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Cherry Creek is a lovely State Park with nicely spaced RV sites, a wonderful paved walking/biking path, big lake and lots of trees and green space. It is an interesting park in that the city has grown around it and yet the Park itself is quiet and feels like it is miles from the city although there are places where the rush of traffic is audible but not annoying. It was fun walking my dog on the path each morning. Highly recommended. We camped at Cherry Creek State Park in a Travel Trailer.
