Harborview Inn & RV Park, Garibaldi, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Garibaldi is a tiny town, almost more of a fishing village so don't go expecting a big city. The views, the facilities and the surroundings are perfect though. The RV park in connected to a hotel that they also run. This allows for some very nice features like a great lobby with lots of space for a get together, linen service so that when you use the showers, you get a clean bath mat each time and hospitality minded staff to help you when you need it. The space we stayed in was plenty big for our 36 ft motor home and easy to get in to. We have pretty low clearance so we were happy that space 9 didn't have a curb in front of it like some of the other pull through spots, otherwise we might have had to back out instead. We had a small grassy area with a picnic table which was plenty of space for us. We also took advantage of a shared area with grass, some bushes surrounding it for some privacy and a couple very comfy adirondack chairs. We walked into town for great food at the bakery, saw the train station which was cute and got fresh crab and yummy clam, fish and chips at a local restaurant. The park is located right on the bay so the views cannot be beat. Sunsets were peaceful and the breeze and beach sounds were pleasant and relaxing. There is a Coast Guard base steps away, it was interesting to watch the activity around the base, who needs tv? We will return here and hope to get a bayfront spot with a fire pit next time. We camped at Harborview Inn & RV Park in a Motorhome.
