Brunet Island State Park, Cornell, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Best campground we have visited so far. Our site (#15) was spacious with a great view of the river. The campground was also very quiet even though there were plenty of children around. Amazingly the beach was not crowded considering it was a gorgeous day in July. Would visit this park again! We camped at Brunet Island State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoyed the quiet beach but the trails were plagued by deer flies. Bring a hat and bug spray!

Hayward KOA, Hayward, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $57.00
Overall Rating:

Great site for the kids! My three children had a TON of fun using the jumping pillow, the slide, pool and mini-golf. That alone increases our rating. However, I found the campground a bit worn down and old looking, but generally clean. The sites were a bit closer together than we would have liked although we did see some sites with more space in between in other areas of the campground. The roads in the campground seemed very narrow, and the situation was exacerbated by people parking their cars too close to (and sometimes on) the road. People would also drive against what was supposed to be the flow of traffic often. We probably wouldn't make a repeat visit. We camped at Hayward KOA in a Motorhome.

Sibley State Park, New London, Minnesota

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We absolutely loved our visit to Sibley State Park! We found it to be a great family friendly park with lots of things to do as a family. The lots are very close and mostly shady. The site surface is dirt and features a fire ring and picnic table. The lake beach area is nice, clean and spacious. We camped at Sibley State Park in a Motorhome.

Sakatah Lake State Park, Waterville, Minnesota

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

We visited Sakatah State Park on out motorhome. Our site was back in and turned out to be very tight but we were able to make it in. We enjoyed the visit to this generally quiet campground. This park has an incredible biking trail. We hiked a trail along the lake and found it a bit overgrown and therefore narrow. It's very family friendly and the park rangers provided outstanding customer service. We camped at Sakatah Lake State Park in a Motorhome.
