Leavenworth RV Campground - Thousand Trails, Leavenworth, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

The park itself is beautiful and quiet. We were there from Sunday through Thursday and while the park is fairly full there were plenty of sites still available. If you want full hookup you may have to come midweek as it tends to fill quickly on weekends. Lots of trails with great areas to walk or run your dogs outside the park. The folks running the place were all friendly and appeared to be happy to work there. Now for the not so good. The park is in need of maintenance. Minimal gravel on the roads created large amounts of dust. This has been identified by numerous folks visiting here and it needs addressing. The restrooms and showers are also in need of some updates. It appears that each restroom has only one shower and my expressed frustration that the drains didn't work. Additionally, we got there on Sunday and the garbage can in the restroom wasn't emptied for several days. The restroom was cleaned daily but cans were emptied. We like the place but can't give it more than a couple stars due to issues. We hope to return to see some change. We camped at Leavenworth RV Campground - Thousand Trails in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The city of Plain is just down the road a couple miles. They have a hardware store, grocery store, and restaurant. We did make a couple stops And the folks there are very friendly. Get mosquito repellent, get the Deet stuff if you want to keep those pesky things off.
