Shipshewana Campground - South Park, Shipshewana, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2019 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Good location, close to everything. Poor drainage as others have mentioned. We waded water everyday. We were in a back in site and the sites are very close. One evening a bunch of kids were riding golf carts through the park and between sites. I'm not sure where they came from or why. We will try another park next time. We camped at Shipshewana Campground - South Park in a Motorhome.

Hershey RV & Camping Resort, Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $3.00
Overall Rating:

We really like this park. It’s one of the best Thousand Trails has to offer. The friendly staff really make you feel welcome. They don’t assign you a site but they did give a suggestion of where to look. I really appreciate not having to wander through the whole park trying to find a site. We stayed in a section that required $3 a nite for 50amp. IDK either. The park seemed to be kid friendly because we saw several enjoying different activities. We camped at Hershey RV & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Tour the Gettysburg Battlefield and try to get tickets to the Sight & Sound Theatre near Lancaster. We saw “Jesus” and it was very good. We’ve seen several of these programs over the years and have never been disappointed.

The Depot Travel Park, West Cape May, New Jersey

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park in a great location with peace and quite. My site was a little unlevel nose to tail but my camper is long. I saw that most sites were flat. Very good roads and neat sites. We didn’t stay home long enough to try the cable or WiFi. We spent most of our time visiting friends and letting them tour us around area. We camped at The Depot Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Aquia Pines Camp Resort, Stafford, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $73.00
Overall Rating:

The roads inside the park are a little tight and it can get sketchy if an opening is a site or a road. We were led to our site so that solved that problem. There was road noise but you’re between the interstate and a busy road so you can assume that will be the case. It wasn’t too noisy when inside the camper. No cable or WiFi which is not a big deal but the price is way out of line. We camped at Aquia Pines Camp Resort in a Motorhome.

Charlottesville KOA, Charlottesville, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The entrance and exit to the park is in a blind curve from the east but the road is much better from that direction. The staff was very friendly and checkin was quick. The interior roads were fine and marked well. I haven't been to this park before but it appears the utilities have been updated and some of the sites have been rearranged to accomidate larger rvs. We were here to tour the presidents' home and this was a great location for that. We didn't have a Verizon signal but the campground WiFi was good. The cable was good also and even with the shade we received a directv signal. We camped at Charlottesville KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was a very convenient one night stop-over for us. Great interior roads and fast checkin. Plenty nice green grass between sites. The pool wasn't open but it's probably a little for that anyway. We will stop here again when passing through. We camped at Fort Chiswell RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mountain Pass Campground, Harrogate, Tennessee

Date of Stay: May, 2019 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and quite park. Very clean and well maintained. Some sites are on the river and great for fishing. The sites are level and easy to get into with nice shade trees. The hosts are very friendly and came by to make sure everything was ok. Our main reason for staying here was to visit the National Park but I wish we would've planned to stay several more nights. It's that peaceful. I also enjoyed a visit with the owners as they stopped by our site to say hi as they were walking through. We camped at Mountain Pass Campground in a Motorhome.

Seven Points Campground COE, Hermitage, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful park with spacious sites. It’s a little out out of the hustle & bustle. Just the way I like it. We were in a site across the road from the boat ramp with a beautiful view of the lake. The notice on the web site concerning check-in being at 3:00 to allow for the cleaning of the sites was spot on. The staff was out doing this every day at every site that a new camper was coming in on. We will be coming back. We camped at Seven Points Campground COE in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: April, 2019 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

A nice quite setting. All roads were paved and accommodating for any size camper. The staff was very friendly and speedy with the check in process. The WiFi was normal campground service. As people come in it's gets slower. We enjoyed the downtown attractions as well as the scenic rides we took. The nearby gardens are beautiful. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Motorhome.

Shady Acres, Lebanon, Tennessee

Date of Stay: March, 2019 - $28.00

The park is mostly full time residents to the point of building patios from used pallets and shoring with dirt. The tree limbs need to be trimmed now and potholes filled in. The staff was friendly and they showed me to my site. We camped at Shady Acres in a Motorhome.

Pacific City RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails, Cloverdale, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in a 50 amp site with sewer. The site was level and private with the surrounding trees and shrubbery. Our stay was peaceful and quite. The beach is right across the highway. Two sections (A&B) were closed. We didn't use the pool or restrooms. The family center is nice with good WiFi. Cell reception was nonexistent for us but we were able to get reception anytime we left the park going into town. Interior roads are tight but manageable. We camped at Pacific City RV & Camping Resort - Thousand Trails in a Motorhome.
