Beaver Lake Campground, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Beaver Lake is pretty average. The sites are gravel, ours was very uneven. The park is in need of some TLC, the grass was so long it nearly covered my shoes in some places. Bathrooms were clean, but in need of updating. Apparently dogs are not required to be leashed because they were running loose and I didn't see anything in their rules that required it. The was of a concern to us because we have a small dog and we didn't want him to be rushed by strange dog. We camped at Beaver Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Twin Fountains RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 4 nights in June 2018 visiting with our daughter and son-in-law in adjoining sites. They placed us on 2 sites that were adjacent to the bar/grill, a pavillion and a walkway that went between our sites that led to the pool. The basketball hoop was right outside our bedroom window. These sites should not have even been sites. They were not acceptable, especially not for $50/night. The rest of the park was nice, well maintained, and with friendly staff. We camped at Twin Fountains RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Catherine's Landing, Hot Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: May, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We were very impressed with the amenities and cleanliness of the park. The construction (they are adding 100 sites) did not impact our experience at all. All roads are paved, level concrete pads and all sites have a grill and fire ring. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Pine Mountain RV Park, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

One of the nicest RV parks we have ever used. All paved roads, each site is spacious with a concrete pad. Spotless bathrooms and showers, nice laundry. Wish all parks were this nice. Will definitely return when in this area. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Plymouth Rock Camping Resort, Plymouth, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

This park should not be referred to as a resort. It is a campground. The roads are extremely narrow with tight turns. I would estimate that 65% of the sites are owned and the units on some of those sites are taken care of but many are in various stages of disrepair. The sewer hookups are only holding tanks. The holding tank at our site was close to full when we arrived and emitted a very fowl odor. We asked one of the maintenance workers if it could be pumped out. He told us to call the office and they would put us on the list. The following day we had to request (again) that our tank be pumped out. Finally they took care of it. Golf carts are abundant and do not observe the speed limit. The number of screaming kids was overwhelming. We were very disappointed (especially for the price) and will never return. We camped at Plymouth Rock Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
